Title: Object of jealousy

I'll give AMC credit for laying it out for all to see: Greenlee is one jealous bitch. Admitting to another jealous bitch that Kendall has everything she ever wanted means that Greenlee's motives are clear. She's not acting out because her heart is broken. She's acting out because she's petty and vindictive, and she just doesn't give a hoot who she hurts along the way.

And there's Aidan, trying to make things right, and she doesn't want him to. So I guess we're supposed to say that (1) Graidan were never really that special and (2) Greenlee doesn't want someone to love or her pre-reveal life back--she just wants Kendall to suffer. Well, thanks to AMC for proving what I've been thinking all along. Greenlee has the depth of a fishtank of goldfish, minus the goldfish.

I'm also glad that Kendall sees it clearly and knows it's coming. I like it when they write Kendall smartly. And I'm glad that Zach didn't try to talk her out of it or defend Greenlee. Yeah, he admitted that she feels betrayed and that's a tough thing for anyone to accept, but AMC has to realize that they have written Zach as accepting it, and Greenlee's deliberate decision not to even try makes her look unbelievably small.

I loved TK's adlibs about Kendall being a bad host, and the way he told Ryan to "get out". I like the Cam/Lish/TK dynamic in scenes like today's, where their real friendships seem to come through.

I continue to love the Kate/Tad/Adam storyline, but I'm tired of JR telling Adam that they're through. It's getting old, and it's never true. And I'm not happy that Adam's rivalry with Jake, which was as recent as 2001, is not being addressed. Jake is being written as if he's angry with Adam for the Tad vs. Adam rivalry, and that's not true. Adam won Liza away from Jake in 1997 (I was a big Adam and Liza fan back then), and then switched samples so that Colby was his daughter, thus winning a custody battle for Colby in 2001. RPG may be new in the role, but Jake has a colorful history with Adam, too, and Jake talks to him like he's a relative stranger.

Jules, that is what i took away from the scenes of Graidan and Grannie......and I didn't need AMC to point that out, as that is what they have been writing for the whole year........but, I have to wonder, is this the story they intentionally wanted to tell, or is their incompetence so unbelievably astounding that they don't recognize the ludicrousness of their Writing or Producing.....just amazing how egregious the stupidity runs....

Jules I agree with you that Greenlee's motivation is driven by her jealousy of Kendall and her life. It was thus in 2005 and it is today. To Greenlee, Aiden's so called infidelity with Kendall offers her a means to an end IMO to destroy Kendall's happy life with Zach and their sons.

I actually felt sorry for Aiden today, because he tried so hard to make Greenlee understand how sorry he was for something that in his mind was a one time mistake at a time when he thought she was gone. It was so clear that Greenlee was not listening and had no intention of ever forgiving him. He was right that she does things to make herself miserable and then complains about it. He also was on target that Ryan and Kendall are the two people that Greenlee cannot live without and is beginning to see that he will always be on the outside looking in.

I liked the way Zen was written today. Zach was telling Kendall that she has to give Greenlee time, because she feels betrayed. You could see that Zach had empathy for Greenlee's situation and could understand it without feeling that he was in some way favoring her over Kendall.... a very different script from the one with Jack last week. One can also see the difference between Zach accepting and forgiving Kendall, because he loves her and Greenlee not willing to forgive Aiden, because she never really loved him and Kendall, because she is jealous of her life. I loved Zach trying to have Kendall focus on the happy events of the day, but it did not detract Kendall from her nemisis and what she may do in the future. I think Kendall already feels that GB is a danger, when she told Zach that Greenlee is out for blood...... and Kendall, the blood she will be after is yours.

Greenlee's inability to forgive will lead to her downfall again IMO. She will lose Kendall and Zach when they realize that she is out for revenge. I know that we will not be lucky enough to see an end to Kenlee, (not while Frons is around), but I hope that at least we will get back a more intuitive Zach and not being a BFF to Greenlee on any level.

I loved DC as Adam today. Here is a character that has done some hateful things, yet today one could see the human part of Adam and the sincerity with which he told Tad about Kate, knowing full well that the backlash from the people he loves will be severe. What a difference from Greenlee whose redemption is failing on all levels.

Awesome post, Jules!

I liked today's show.

First off, Greenlee B!tch. I'm over Aidan but she made me feel sorry for him. He laid it all out to her and she won't even try to understand or forgive in time. It was very telling and disappointing when he explained to her the differences between how she loves Ryan and Kendall even to forgive them, yet she doesn't love him like that. That scared me most of all. That just told me that Kenlee will never be dead nor will Rylee. Rylee I could care less about but Kenlee is highly damaging to Kendall. It's too one sided and sick to be good for her. I hate when they good people like Zach have to constantly tell us that the relationship will be fine. That friendship is not fine, it never was and never will be. I still can't believe some of the things that comes about of her mouth. "Kendall's name is like nails on a chalkboard"? Funny that's the exact same thing I was thinking about her name.

Annie/Josh/Zach- the fact that they actually wrote in for him to notice her feeling sad or worried makes me think they are going to start stories for the both of them. Zach noticed Josh's hesitation over going back to the hospital. Anyway, I still think Annie is salvagable. She just needs some direction.

I liked the Adam against the mob at the hospital. I too hate that everyone was hypocritical in turning on him whne they did the same thing. At the same time I can understand why they're so mad. Adam did what he did, knowing that history and how much it hurt those involved and he still did it anyway. I love Adam and DC pulled off those scenes well.

I'm loving RPG as Jake. He's hot. When he was holding off Adam from Tad he had a Zachian quality about him. I can't wait to see more of him.

Zendall...in the tradition in saving the best for last. I loved them. Their conversations were about Greenlee or course but it didn't bug me. Zach saying he was glad that Greenlee was there said to me that Zach wants to believe that Greenlee could can be the person Kendall thinks she is. She's not and he's going to learn the hard way, unfortunately. All Greenlee learned in that hole is why Kendall loves Zach so much. She got to be see first hand what a wonderful person he is. That's what she keeps trying to turn that into something that it wasn't for Zach.

Kendall's worried about her friend making mistakes again that could only hurt herself and the others around her. It reminds me of her trying to have Ryan's baby without his knowledge.

Enough about her, I loved that Zach recognized how Kendall was stressed and he comforted her. I love all of the love that they continue to show to each other everyday. I loved them talking about Spike and I loved Zach's comment about Ian blowing out a candle soon. I loved also that he told Ryan to get out. LOL Ryan continues to be a third wheel, even when he's not a plot device.

I loved the birthday party continuing today and it had a less Green tone than it did yesterday. The Slater continue to be a solid family and no matter what's coming or what I think could be coming, I have no doubt that Zendall is the end game

WORD!

I'm tired, and oh so worn out from mountains of homework, so I'm just gonna say I agree with everybody and pose a few questions.

-Does Kendall know that Tad offed Madden? She didn't pick up on Josh's uneasiness, which I thought a little odd, but then I didn't know if she ever knew about the Tad/Madden thing. Zach wouldn't tell her after the trial, did she ever find out?

-Did anybody bring poor Emma any cake? Didn't look like it, and I felt sorry for her.

-Was it just me, or were the bumpers weird today--a KWAK bumper with Josh voiceover and a Zach bumper with Aidan voiceover?

-Okay, this one's just for fun--who else was totally psyched that Adam is gonna go see Erica tomorrow? Yay!

GO TEAM SLATER!!! :yay

Kendall has never been told that it was Tad who put Madden in a box. The only other person that knows the truth is Josh and he got that out of Zach when he drugged him. No one else was in the room at the time.

Okay, duh! I was watching the clip today, and confused by the tension from Josh and Zach about the Tad news. Honestly, I am always forgetting about the Josh/Tad dynamic.

I'm at home sick today, catching up on all my soap stuff that I can't do at work anymore.
