Title: For what it's worth.....

Tad v. Adam.

Adam v. Tad

Their long standing feuds make up for some of the greatest moments on All My Children.

I love to watch Michael E. Knight and David Canary work their magic. Especially, when each character gets to list their grievances against the other.

Like Tad said today, they could have gone around and around forever. But today, a begrudging respect was found. Tad realized that despite their entire history, despite all the anger and hurt and the wrongdoings, he was able to recognize that Adam gave him his daughter Kate because it was simply the right thing to do.

Why was it so easy? Because no matter what his children might say, no matter what he might say to them, Adam loves his children with his whole heart. Tad recognizes this. And this is why Adam gave Tad his child, because as a father and a parent, Adam knows what a special gift a child can be.

Both men on the verge of tears, each not wanting their respective facades to crumble in front of the other. And in the end, they didn't have to be best friends forever. Their final lines to each other said it best after Tad extended his hand in thanks and after accepting it Adam says "This doesn't change a damn thing." And Tad responded, "Damn straight it doesn't."

I totally agree that was the best part of the show today.

What exactly does JR expect Adam to do. Just earlier that day, JR told Adam that he wasn't his father any more. Is he supposed to believe that JR wants to work along side him?

Tad/Adam - Loved it. DC practically made me cry with his expressions there at the end when he took Tad's hand. And hey, no revenge thing from Tad is good. If only JR'd stop being so annoying. . . . I agree about JR working at Chandler--he said he was only doing it because Adam needed him, and now he wants to take over? Eesh.

Kendall/Greenlee - UGH. That was just so--UGH. I hate seeing Kendall trapped with Greenlee! It's sick and wrong. When Greenlee was all "I could have given them some dirt" or whatever she said, I was like, "well, yeah, Kendall could have given them a bunch of dirt about you too, you backstabbing, babynapping skank-whore stalker!" Kenlee makes me sick, and I want it over!!!!

Zach/Jake - Ooooh. Me likes. They were great. RPG has definitely got something to add to PV (if he can keep the pompous Martin thing in check). I'm intrigued that Zach knows his secret. Oh, and I also liked that he looked uncomfortable when Greenlee showed up and propositioned him. If they can keep him green-free, he could be a real asset. I don't want Jake to be contaminated by the contagion that is Greenlee. She can go off with some random guy--Richie works for me, as per the suggestions already made. This will work for the good in two ways: Richie can be redeemed for what he's done, because my god, what could be worse punishment than hooking up with that?! And Greenlee can suffer by catching whatever he might have picked up, and realizing at some point that she did the guy who shut the bomb shelter door--good times.

Zendall - Sigh. So not cool. Zach should not have to deal with Greenlee's pain, revenge, etc. as he's working his way through dealing with the 5MS.

Kendall should not have to re-live the Greenlee-induced insecurities storyline of '04 and have to endure a rehashing of Krylee with Zach replacing Ryan. It's just so wrong. I'm gonna be really pissed if they even think about going there. Sigh.

GO TEAM SLATER!!!

Cheryl great post. I loved how this was played and I particularly loved that Adam was allowed to bring up all the things Tad has done (too bad he didn't know about Madden). One of the things I love about Adam and how DC plays him is that he does bad things but is always held accountable. He may not go to jail but he feels the pain and we see his heart.

I liked the Zach/Jake scenes although I couldn't figure out why Zach was even there but I am hoping we see more of these two.

Even though I thought the interview was lame at first, after I thought about it I realized that everyone must know about the Kendall/GB fiasco (Kendall getting arrested etc.) and the interviewer was trying to get them to talk about it. What really bothered me is Kendall buying GB's nonsense about her and Zach. PLEASE. The writers are trying to make me believe that the past two years never happened and all that Zach and Kendall went through didn't happen. At this point in her life the last thing Kendall should be is jealous of this bitch. Kendall wasn't even that jealous over Hannah who was really after her husband and had history with him so why the hell would she be now. I realize that Zen are still working through the reveal and this is adding more tension in the marriage but why can't these writers be more original than using Kendall's insecurities. Zach is not Ryan and if Kendall doesn't know this buy now I give up. I want Kendall strong and feisty like she was that day in GB's apartment (put you big girl panties on and get over it) and like she was during the SS story. Mostly I want Kendall to realize that this girl IS NOT HER FRIEND.
