Title: A Sense of Déjà vu?

I think I'd rather gouge my eye out with a spork.
I will just say I felt absolutely terrible for Kendall at the end of today's show. Once again, they've had an argument and he walks away from her. And despite what she said, he should be considerate enough to let her know where he is, that he is okay. If he wants to go to the casino and cool off... fine.
But no..... she's left to worry once again. And like she said, the last time he walked out on her he disappeared.
So much for his "never gonna leave you ever again." :(

Kendall's insecurities make perfect sense to me. I admit that I'd rather see Zen's or Kendall's story be almost anything other than this, but it is in character for her to feel this way.
I say this as diplomatically as I can, but Zach was not as sensitive or comforting to her as he should have been. I've seen Zach try to make Kendall feel better, and today was not one of those days. She needed him and he didn't come through for her, and after he told her at the burning cabin that he never should have left her that day in November, I was pissed that he left her again. I was even willing to give him a break at the cabin because I thought he was way too hard on himself, but today, it annoyed me because it was so plot devicey, so contrived, that when Kendall says that she's afraid of losing him, his response is to leave her for some fresh air or whatever.
I know it's all so that we, and Kendall, suspect that Zach slept with Greenlee, but it's very wrong.
Some of what Zach said, I liked. But there was a definite lack of compassion in his remarks. It was, to quote Greenlee, very analytical. "I love YOU. She's my friend, you're my wife. Fusion wasn't destroyed." All true, but not comforting, and Kendall needed comforting.
The one moment I was laughing out loud about was when Greenlee admitted her jealousy, and Jake and Josh had to think hard to come up with something that Greenlee has in her life--Jackson and Fusion aren't exactly up there with Kendall's mother, brother, sister, sons and husband, and oh yeah, she's got Fusion, too. AMC gets that Kendall has so much and Greenlee has so little, but rubbing Kendall down to an insecure wife (on the same day as the very good Zen scenes at Spike's birthday party, no less) isn't going to even Kenlee out. Kendall has more than Greenlee, and that's just how it is.

That's exactly it Jules. Kendall has valid concerns as far as Greenlee goes. So whether she is always mentioning her name or not he should be sensitive to it and not go gallivanting off. Even if they reached a stalemate it would have been better than walking off and leaving her to wonder if he'd been dumped into another hole.

I completely agree, Cheryl, J and Jules!!
Zach’s walking out on Kendall today was a bad move on his part, for two reasons IMO. One reason was their disagreement was far from over and nothing had been resolved. Zach’s walking out is certainly not going to help matters or resolve the issue’s that they currently have between them. If Zach felt it necessary to put some space between Kendall and himself, OK. Maybe he should have just gone to a different part of the house and told Kendall that he needed a little time to calm down. But if he just had to leave the house and in turn leave Kendall, than the least he could have done would have been to let her know where he was going and made sure that he was at least reachable by phone. I mean for the love of God he has two young children and an emotionally upset wife at home, and after all Kendall did just get Zach back from the HoR . Plus he just told Kendall he would never leave her again and then the next time they disagree and have an argument what does he do, he leaves!! I felt so bad for Kendall today. I’ll admit that Zach and Kendall both made some valid points today, but Zach totally aggravated me when he left Kendall after he promised her he wouldn’t leave her again.
For me right now this show is so ass backwards and I am sick and tired of Kendall being the town whipping post. Sure she screwed up but that doesn’t make her worthy of everyone’s hatred. Especially when the ones doing the most hating (Greenlee, Jackson) are far from virtuous themselves.

Boy, I totally agree with this!
I really hated that Zach just dismisses Kendall's feelings just because he thinks she shouldn't be feeling them. We can't always help the way we feel. Kendall's feelings are her feelings, right or wrong, and they should be dealt with.
And I really, really hated that he walked out on her. I thought he just recently promised he would never do that again.
I haven't seen the show yet, so I probably shouldn't be saying anything until I do. But my heart is breaking for Kendall.

Good point, and what's sad is that Zach himself has said this to Kendall on several occasions. He doesn't judge and he would always acknowledge that she's entitled to her feelings, but not today.
I watched the show live in the quiet of my home, and I rewatched the show after a few hours had passed, and I have to say that my initial feelings about it have not changed at all. Very disappointing.

Today I ask why Kendall felt she pushed Zach away and why Zach felt that she pushed him away? IMO there was not enough analytical conversation between them for me to believe that Zach's reason for leaving was her pushing him away. Zach said he knows Kendall. If that is indeed true (I believe he does) then he should have immediately recognized her insecurity issues surfacing because of GB's mind games.
Zach knows what GB is capable of, what she has done to Kendall in the past and what buttons she pushes to hurt Kendall and that should have made him be a little more understanding of Kendall's fragile state of mind and not defended GB's actions so vigorously. Therefore I do not believe that Kendall was pushing him away, but trying to have him take her side instead of trying to rationalize GB's behavior. It is true that Kendall failed to tell Zach exactly what GB said to her about their bonding in the bomb shelter, however I don't think there was a doubt in Zach's mind that that was what GB did especially when Kendall brought up the Ryan history. My heart broke for Kendall today because the same insecurities that vicious jealous GB brought out in her today are the same that may cause Kendall herself to have history repeat itself. Fortunately Zach isn't Ryan, but Greenlee is the same Greenlee.
I don't think that Zach intentionally wanted Kendall to feel that he is taking GB's side over hers, but in Kendall's insecure mind and having listened to GB's innuendoes that is the way it looked. IMO walking out on Kendall again was something I would not have expected Zach to do, considering his own history. That is why I regard it as a plot device to rush the story and leave an obvious cliffhanger for the weekend. I can't believe that TPTB think there are viewers out there that would believe that Zach is the man GB sleeps with.
IMO the quicker this s/l is brought to end the better.

From your keyboard to the soap gods' ears.
Of course, I'm also a "be careful what you wish for" kind of girl, because with my luck it would wrap in a real hurry in with divorce papers.

I agree with this. We (the audience) and Kendall have been beat over the head with this ONS crap for over 6 damn months and I for one am damn sick and tired of hearing about it. The show needs to move the hell on.
But like Cheryl said I may regret saying that knowing this show.

LMAO. Dude, that is so true.
ETA: To be fair, I really don't think Z was leaving Kendall. He just had to go show Greenlee some fabric swatches he liked for the harem's outfits.

Zen - I really did not enjoy the Zen stuff today. Not bashing the actors at all, and god knows the script could have been worse, but still, I was not loving it.
Zach's dialogue made so much sense to me, and I loved that he was all about letting the ish go, not having Greenlee and Aidan intrude into Zen's marriage, and the "always only you" stuff, but the way he's just like "let it go" is not helpful--especially with Kendall. That's just not how she works. Then there's poor Kendall; she's been regressed so far that it's ridiculous, and when it comes to Greenlee, it seems like she's actually had her brain removed. It's beyond stupid that Kendall has to be obsessed with her "sister" (*gag*). We had to suffer through this crap before, and I don't want to do it again.
-Kendall being so brainwashed by the Green Plague of PV is so stupidly plot-driven Greenlee "redemption" crap that I don't know how they can believe the viewers are this easily manipulated.
-Zach walking out (or leaving, or whatever you want to call it) was so blatantly plot-driven that I just cringed and rolled my eyes. He wanted Kendall to be honest with him, and wouldn't let her walk out, but then when she was honest, he bailed? WTF? I didn't like that the last thing he said was something like "you're pushing me away" and then he left. Kendall's far too insecure right now to be able to deal with that, and even though we know he'll come back, I'm not sure she can see that through her the Greenlee-colored glasses that the writers have jammed on her head.
Tad/KWAK - Okay, I got the message after the first three hundred forty-seven times . . . you can stop now. And KWAK really needs to change that dress already.
Adam/JR - Deja vu much? Didn't they just have this argument? About nine hundred and sixty-seven times in the last month alone? Enough already!
Babe/Amanda - Could Babe be any dumber? Wait--don't answer that. And Amanda, well, I had a feeling she would get mistaken for a hooker. Eeesh.
Jake/Greenlee/Josh - WTF was that?!?!?! I went from "Run, Jake, run!!!" to "Die, Greenlee, die!!!" to "No, Josh, Noooooooo!!!!" Jake's been out of the country, so he couldn't be expected to know of the evil that is Greenlee, but Greenlee's recap of events was a disgusting lesson in revisionist history, and Josh--WTF?!?!?!? How many drinks did he have to catch up with them so fast on the drunkenness scale? Why the hell was he so damn chummy with her all of a sudden? He was far too much on her side, and against Kendall's. If that's not plot-driven crap, I don't know what is. But it really made me mad because I've been wanting Josh to have more airtime for a long time now, and this is what they give us. When they set up the "cliffhanger" of Greenlee + Zach or Jake or Josh, I wanted it to end up being Jake. I'm intrigued by and liking Jake for the moment, but I'd rather sacrifice him to the Greenlee bus than Zach or Josh. Of course, if I had my way, I'd rather have Greenlee hook up with Babe's leftovers at that sleazy motel, but we all know that's not gonna happen. UGH.
GO TEAM SLATER!!!

I too think Zach sometimes has this dismissive attitude when it comes to Kendall's feelings about certain things.....but, something he said today was a total WTF?......"HE said Kendall was pushing him away," how is she doing this, when he asked for her to talk to him......
I think Kendall needs a story of "therapy".....cause she needs to kick Ryan, Greenlee and Jackson to the curb.....these people should not be considered family or friends, or sister........they are toxic to Kendall......
...all of that being said, I do love when she and Zach have real argument discussions like today.....it showcases a couple who is trying to communicate with one another and work out the kinks in a marriage.......
the rest of the show, totally sux's......Joonyer, will he ever learn that he is not as Smart or Conniving as he thinks he is......Lawd, get a Brain........
