Yeah...they are just inappropriately hot together. If only they hadn't originally set out to make him her brother. OH the Kletus-YAY!

Kristine - June 16, 2008 08:10 PM (GMT)
DUDE. Imagine a 100-percent-non-related Kendall in some of those Josh love scenes. (It's so WRONG!)

If Trey (<<<--- hee!) and Binks came home, it would be an embarassment of riches. Extremely inappropriate riches.

Oooh... that might be worthy of a banner, Crys.

Kletus are so purdy and hawt. And hey, they're only half siblings!! Yes, I know I'm going to hell.

I can't say this enough, but Team Richie all the way, yo. Poor guy, he's really just misunderstood. If anything, his actions last fall were heroic! Sure he was driving Greenlee's Bus of Redemption ( who isn't these days, right?), but what people didn't realize is that Richie is teh psychic. He knew Z would lose hs brain and balls and he was really just trying to save Z from himself. The Soap Gods went and interfered with his plans and now look what happened. Z has gone dick and I'm not talking about the fun way to go dick either. As for Greenlee, well, if you guys need a reason why that bitch shouldn't be buried as far underground as possible then your ass ain't paying attention.

:ROTFLMAO

Josh/Colin and Kendall/Lish make me a puddle on the floor when they are in scenes together. I keep having to remind myself that the characters are siblings. I wasn’t a fan of Josh pimping Kenlee, but I can and will (for now) let that slide because Lish and Colin are freaking HOT together and make me forget about the crap writing. At the end of their scenes together on today's episode, when Josh took Kendall by the arms and was telling her to tell him he was right (the scene from Cheryl’s screen caps), OMG the looks and touching between those two were HOT.

Kendall/Josh - I really liked them today. I love that Josh can read her so well, and that he's so supportive of her. It's so good for Kendall to have Erica and Josh--I think Binks wouldn't understand Kendall's perspective quite so well. I really loved Josh saying that the Kenlee relationship was "twisted," that Kendall has an amazing life with Zach and the boys, and that he was all "do you hear yourself . . . is it scaring you too?" I'm glad Kendall was able to think more realistically abou things, but disgusted--as always--that it's all-Greenlee-all-the-time. I hate the Greenlee propping . . . sigh . . . oh how I hate it!!!

Kendall/Greenlee - :madashell Poor, poor Kendall. Why, oh why, is there no one else in PV for her to be friends with?! Seriously, I'd rather have her BFFing it up with KWAK and Babe than this. Anyone else think the only reason Greenlee let her in was because Annie freaked her out and she needed someone to pity her? UGH. And then she called Kendall a homewrecker?! Whatthefuckever!!! Glad Kendall didn't sink to Greenlee's level--liked "are you done yet?"--but seriously, Kenlee needs to end!!!

Annie/Greenlee - Annie didn't seem crazy at all to me. You get her, Annie!!! Greenlee's "who me?" face was disgusting. Loved Annie calling her out on her ish and calling her out on her BS innocent act too. If Annie has to go all psycho to prop Greenlee, I say she should get to kill Greenlee off the show. We'll probably be stuck with some GreenMartyr crap, but that would end after a bit, and then we'd be Green-free!!!

Annie/Ryan - Again, Annie didn't seem nutso to me at all. I did start to get a ultra-manipulative vibe from her that made me think, "whoa, she's better at this than Richie is!" but still . . . Ryan wasn't that bad. Huh.

Zach/Richie/JR/Babe - Ooooh, Zach was amazing today. Loved it. Scary, quiet. lethal, and so sinfully delicious. Richie doesn't stand a chance. Zach was so calm on the outside, but you could just see the wheels turning . . . I can't wait to see what happens next! It cracked me up that he gave JR an alibi. Their whole convo was great. Loved it! I so want those two together on this. Honestly, I want more Slater/Chandler interaction. They're all so good together. (They should really let Kendall and JR be friends again and cut Greenlee out of the Slaters' lives altogether! JR was always a much better friend to her!!!) As for the gag-me preview that they gave us, I didn't like it, but that's probably what they wanted to do, right? I wanted him to talk to Kendall first, but of course the hole-bonding crap has to come before everything. UGH. I get it though, I mean, Greenlee was in that hole with him. I hope this is the end of this craptastic thing. I wonder if Kendall will still be at Greenlee's when Zach gets there. . . .

GO TEAM SLATER!!! :yay

Love the banners! I miss Trey and Binks. Kendall needs real siblings--not this toxic faux-sister crap with Greenlee!!!

Jules - June 17, 2008 11:26 AM (GMT)
Unpopular opinion: I would have liked Josh/Kendall alot more if they were talking about Erica, or Ian's first birthday party, or the presidential election. Having Josh have to talk to "nutty Kendall" and remind her to put Greenlee behind her made me wince during their scenes together. I'm so damn tired of Silly Kendall, needing someone else (Zach, Erica, Josh) to remind her of all she has.

Worse yet, and JMO, but every single time AMC writes a Kendall scene where someone points out that she's got a loving and faithful hubby, two great kids, a terrific career and a life that others would envy, and they write a Greenlee scene where she admits that she's jealous of Kendall, I want to scream that if AMC knows that Kendall is the more fulfilled character, (1) stop writing her in such a way that every insecurity pops out in destructive ways just to make Greenlee look better and (2) have Greenlee stop playing the victim, because doing evil things to someone because you're jealous makes you a giant bitch, not a victim, and very few viewers are buying this crap (and alot of magazine editors aren't, either).

There's got to be a better story someone, somewhere can tell for Kendall than this.

perky7kc - June 17, 2008 11:26 AM (GMT)
The line of the day had to be Josh saying from the outside Kendall and GB's relationship looks "twisted". Boy is that an understatement. I also love how Josh told her that Zach takes faithfulness to a completely new level and was completely blown away that this man could forgive her. Josh got everything right and then some. I think the reason both Josh and Zach don't try and talk Kendall out of being friends with GB (like Erica) is because they know it will never happen. Kendall is obsessed with GB and everyone knows that they have their fights and Kendall is back being her friend because she thinks this is what a friendship is and has no clue that a real friend doesn't treat you like GB treats Kendall (Kendall apologizing yet again made me sick). What really bothered me about Friday and yesterday is that we never hear Kendall tell Josh why she slept with Aidass (I'm sure the bitch didn't tell him the truth). Josh knows the condition Kendall was in when Zach was missing and I'm sure he would understand. I also think it unrealistic that he wouldn't ask her why she slept with him. Again, bad writing and no continunity.

I am in love with Annie. It seems she is the only one who tells GB the truth about herself. The sad part is GB never gets it and never shows any kind of remorse for what she does. There is absolutely no depth to this character (like there is with Adam) and that is the reason the viewers have no sympathy for her. MCE is doing a great job and I don't think she's portraying Annie as nuts but like a woman whose at the end of her rope. I especially liked the line "this isn't who I am". This isn't who Annie is really (at least that's not what we've seen up to this point). Annie has always been a caring person but GB can drive everyone over the edge (look what she's done to Kendall). What's also sad is that GB doesn't even care that Ryan has a daughter with Annie and that child may be the one to suffer. She is the one who goes after married men NOT KENDALL. I hate that she made it sound like GB/Aidass had more of a relationship than they did.

Last but not least (save the best for last) Zach was SO HAWT today. Loved TK and BM. I feel bad that they wrote Ritchie into a corner and now they must let him go, another good actor wasted.

Oh, I hated his lecture about how she's the nutty wife and her husband is the paragon of virtue and she should damn well know better and lick his boots, etc. I also hated his vast knowledge of Greenlee who he's dated once, and now boinked once suddenly making him the authority on Kenlee relations. If anything Josh's knowledge of Greenlee should stem from the period when she was obsessed with Ryan and his kid, then Kendall and her kid, and the kidnapping. All of those things should have Josh or ANYONE with a half a memory saying "No, you aren't crazy, K, and G poking isn't cute or okay given your past. However, all you can do is either stop her or stop letting her get through. I have your back." Of course we'll never hear that.

Actually, I have to give Ryan half a point because he's offered some defense in that regard by calling G on her "classy" and childish behavior.

His whole speech rang false, but Colin and Alicia yay and I enjoyed the pretty and the few times they shared a friendly smile more than anything out of Josh's mouth. I long for scenes with them where the purpose isn't to lecture Kendall or pump up anyone else.

The constant lectures and be a big girl speeches have become insulting, IMO, no matter who the speaker is [Erica, Josh, Zach].

MCE was the star of the show yesterday. I hope that she brings something to the Richie story and makes it more than just the townsfolk chasing the big bad evul. We've seen that before with Madden, Zarf, and then ACS. The slow unraveling of Annie is a bit sad to watch, but fascinating since MCE seems to be embracing her role and really making the most of her time to shine.

Pssh. Who says I paid attention to the dialogue? ;) Seriously though, the themes of the show are:

Greenlee=love, faith, forgiveness
Kendall=crazy whore of a wife
Zach = martyr for forgiving and putting up with his crazy ass wife.

I don't disagree that K is obsessed with Greenlee, but really--who isn't these days? Everyone, including Mr. Takes Faithfulness To A Whole New Level, sees no problem with Greenlee and they are all encouraging her. Kendall is getting patted on the head and told to just calm the fuck down because Greenlee is hurt and just lashing out. If she says anything otherwise she gets lectured or if you're Zach, he stomps off in a hissy fit.

If Kendall doesn't have a clue then Z sure has hell hasn't been hit by the clue bus either. But my bad, Kendall is BSC for her Greenlee obsession but Zach's obsession is perfectly KO because he is rarely wrong.

I hope if I ever become obsessed with a destructive bitch who nearly killed my kids that my family cares enough to give up on convincing me she’s a destructive bitch.

Of course, Zach and Josh reject the "Greenlee's a destructive bitch" theory; she's just a wounded puppy innocently lashing out at her betraying whore of a friend.

Sorry, but when Kendall asks all of the people in her life how she can make things right with Greenlee, I want someone aside from Erica to say, “You don’t need to make things right. Screw her.” Kendall might not listen, but that doesn’t mean there’s no value in saying it.

Aside from the yay, the only Josh got right is that Kenlee is twisted. He treated her in the same condescending manner almost everyone else has (even though he brought the pretty when he did it).

Northern Gal - June 17, 2008 02:13 PM (GMT)
What they said.

Oh and Annie’s past transgressions have all gone up in smoke after that performance yesterday. Talk about calling a bitch spade a bitch spade.

Diva - June 17, 2008 02:37 PM (GMT)
I take issue with Greenlee's statement to Kendall about sleeping with a married man. Kendall did not sleep with a married man. In fact I do not believe that Kendall ever slept with a married man, only her husband. Greenlee however would have slept with Zach in a heartbeat if he had wanted her. She asked Jake to sleep with her and didn't bother to ask if his wife was still alive. I'm sure she would sleep with Ryan if he asked her. She is the slut of PV and dares to question Kendall's morality. What a crock of bull!!!!

I enjoyed Kendall and Josh's conversation because some parts were rather humerous, some were down to earth truths and most of it was a typical brother/sister banter. I liked that Josh called her out on not having enough faith in Zach "who takes faithfulness to a completely new level" and that he called her friendship with GB "twisted". I'm not happy that both Zach and Josh are pushing her to make up with Greenlee. They are both blind to GB's true nature and are doing Kendall a big disservice. I am sick of seeing the regressed insecure Kendall to make GB look better. I want my confident, smart, take no prisoners Kendall back.

Everything that Kendall does comes from her big heart and today we saw that heart given over to a selfish, vile, heartless bitch, who will only stomp on it as she has done in the past. The Kenlee scenes to me were puke worthy. I just hope against hope that the new head writer has enough sense to put an end to this toxic waste of a so-called friendship. It isn't working for me, nor for IMO a majority of the audience.

I did like Annie today. She stood up to the toxic waste and told her what I would have loved to hear Kendall and Zach say to her. Go Annie!!!

I see from tomorrow's preview that as much as I wanted the Zach/Ritchie s/l to begin, it looks like we are going to have Greenlee in our faces with Zach for the forseeable future, because of the contrived "hole" connection. How can we get rid of this pestillence that just won't go away? Zach should be sharing all this with Kendall, but I guess the whore will have his attention as well.

Amen, I am sick and tired of Zach, Erica, and Josh all acting like Kendall is a naughty child who won’t listen to reason. Kendall is a grown woman with two children of her own and she does not deserve to be treated like she is a child, because like you said, it is insulting. Plus I don’t completely disagree with a lot Kendall has been trying to say to Zach, Erica and Josh about Greenlee. Greenlee is capable of harming Kendall or her boys and Zach especially should quit acting like Kendall is a silly little child who needs corrected and take his wife’s feelings, concerns and fears seriously.

Jules - June 17, 2008 03:28 PM (GMT)
LOL, ladies. I will never again confuse love of Yay with liking the substance of the dialogue again. I definitely thought Colin and Lish were having fun working together, but I felt a strong need to slap Josh upside the head.

Cheryl - June 17, 2008 04:06 PM (GMT)
I really thought you knew us better than that Jules!!! LOL

IMO, Josh lost every ounce of credibility when he dinked the kidnapper. I don't care how drunk you are, dude. Are you that desperate that you'd hit that? I mean, really? So unfortunately, Joshie poo is getting the same "fingers in ears 'la la la'" treatment that Zach is getting from me. I can be shallow and appreciate the pretty, but until the day comes that I don't see the word "Greenlee" in my closed captioning, they will be muted.

Exactly! Does he not remember the heart-warming tear-jerking speech he gave Kendall about how he'd never forgive Greenlee for what she did to Kendall and her boys? I loved that speech, and he ruined it for me.
