Title: Hello Old Friend!

Jendall!! It has been a long time since I've enjoyed any scene involving JR and Kendall. I think by having her sleep with him McT made a grave mistake. They are better as friends and this is what they should have always been. Plus Kendall had someone on her side today. Someone other than her mother.

I was always a fan of the Jendall friendship, pre perv and smooshing of course. Nice of someone to be on Kendall's side for a change. At this point, sadly, I'll take whatever support I can get for my girl.

Today there were so many conversations between Zach and Kendall with other characters, but unfortunately not with each other. Their body language as they sat together or just stood next to each other throughout the show showed just how much in love they are with each other, but that convo that I was hoping for did not happened yet. I found that Zach was very pensive and deep in thought and not really concentrating on talking to the people around him. I think his conversation with Ryan was the focal point of where his mind was going...making sure that Richie paid for what he did to Kendall and his family. The way he twirled his ring, while sitting next to Kendall indicated to me that his primary concern was Kendall and his sons, just as it was in the bomb shelter.

Kendall reached out to people around her and showed the loving and forgiving heart that she has. JR and Annie appreciated her olive branch of concern, but Greenlee turned away. When will Kendall learn that her friendship with Greenlee is destructive to her family life and a threat to her happiness? Kendall needs a real friend that will treat her with respect and appreciate and love her for the giving person that Kendall is. I as well am happy that JR and Kendall are beginning to revive their friendship. Jendall is so much more appealing than Kenlee.

I think today's show feels like it is the beginning of a new arc. Some frienships are coming together and some look like they are drifting apart. JR and Kendall are beginning to mend their friendship, whereas Zach is beginning to see Greenlee in a different light, without the haze cast by the bomb shelter. That BFF bond is becoming more tarnished every day as GB shows her true colors. Starting with the tennis match where Zach realized what mind games GB was playing with Kendall, to yesterday's convo of playing down her whiney complaints about her miserable life, to today's concentration on her jealousy of Annie, when all attention should be focused on bringing Richie to justice. One could tell that Zach's attention was clearly focused on the man that hurt him and his family and that he be made to pay in the event Richie falls through the cracks of the justice system.

I think Kendall's look of concern and Zach's stern expression at the very of end of the show gives us an idea of where this s/l is heading.

I am so glad someone (thank you JR) finally told Kendall how lucky Zach is to have her. Everyone keeps telling Kendall how lucky she is to have Zach, and I keep waiting for someone, anyone, to say how lucky Zach is to have her. And for that I think I love JR again (for now). Just don’t hurt Kendall again, JR!! Plus his apology seemed sincere and adult. JR’s adult behavior today was definitely a stark contrast to Greenlee’s childish “lets see how many married men’s pants I can try and get into today” behavior. Greenlee was her normal “look at me, look at me, pay attention to me and only me” self today. But today it was extra annoying because what Richie (poor Richie) did affects everyone not just her. Seriously that BITCH needs to grow the hell up and get the hell over herself ASAP.

Kendall was so incredibly sweet and kind with everyone today even if their ungrateful butts didn’t deserve her kindness (Greenlee). So many people in PV have been so judgmental and nasty to Kendall lately that it warms my Kendall loving heart to see that she still has such a giving kind heart despite all that she has been through.

When Kendall and JR were talking I remembered why I missed their friendship. Somewhere back in the day, before the friendship was complicated by sex and murder attempts, Jendall did have a sweet friendship, at least it was better than the one sided friendship that is Kenlee.

Anyway loved my girl Kendall today (and everyday) and loved JR’s little speech and apology to Kendall.

I watched live today and it was basically a boring show except for the beauty of ZEN. I loved how whenever they were together there was so much touching going on and I love how Zach could care less about GB and her problems. In fact, what I loved most was when Kendall told Zach about the Annie and GB confrontation he told her "it's not our business it's theirs". Zach is all about his family and that's it. :woohoo I was, however, pissed that Zach and Kendall didn't have a chance to talk about how Zach knew Ritchie was the one but everyone else hand plenty to say.

I love Kendall's big beautiful heart. The way she made sure Annie was okay, she apologized to JR and even her conversation with Aidass. Then you had GB who was a bitch to ALL.

I was very impressed by what JR said to Kendall and yet Kendall said she hasn't quite forgiven him yet because he almost killed her but yet she has forgiven the bitch for almost killing her son. I'm sorry but I don't get it. Do the writers just not think or do they think we're morons.

I also liked what JR said to GB about the perfect man. Yes GB we ALL do make mistakes even your precious Ryan.

I liked how Ryan stuck up for Annie over GB. I know it won't last but at least the idiot did something right.

Then we have St. Ryan who kidnapped Ritchie and put a noose around his neck but when Zach asked him if he was okay with taking Ritchie down if the law didn't he got all let's see what happens. GMAFB

Did I say how beautiful Kendall looked today or how Zach looked very HAWT and his hair was PERFECTION.

I'm someone who has hated the Jendall friendship and sex without love relationship, and for whatever reason, AMC has often felt the need for JR to talk to Kendall with a leering, "I'd like to get you nekkid" mentality, rather than respect. But today's JR/Kendall scenes worked for me. I'm glad Kendall heard that someone thinks Zach is a lucky man. I only wish that someone had told Zach that, too.

TK and AM brought the intimacy and the pretty, but the dialogue for Zen was lacking. Their only on screen conversation was about Annie vs. Greenlee, which is unbelievable, IMO. I got the message, sent subtly, that Zen are united, in love, invincible, and very close, but after days of showing us cracks in the china, I thought it was odd and a little insulting to Zen fans to assume that that's all we want to see--touching and hugging. I loved seeing Zen be touchy-feely with each other, but I get the feeling that AMC is saying that close moments like today's show are all we need. No. There should be a conversation about what they're going through, not Greenlee's or Annie's problems. Maybe we'll get that conversation tomorrow, but it just seemed weird to me, and I felt AMC is taking for granted that Zen fans will come if Zen is on, and that's not enough for me.

It's amazing to me that Kendall can't forgive JR for trying to kill her, while Greenlee's rage is because Kendall had a five minute mistake in grief with Greenlee's boyfriend. Greenlee looked like a petty bitch by comparison.

I also want to say that it's not fair to the other actresses for one of them to wear a red summer dress when AM is wearing one in the same scene, and I mean no disrespect to MCE, who is a very pretty woman. And since red is such an eyecatching color, all other female characters are invisible when Kendall in Red is on the set. Way to go, AM!!

Well he's all about their family when it suits him. When Kendall voiced her concerns about Annie and Greenlee and he told her it was none of their business I laughed my damn ass off at the hypocrisy of it all. After all, it was one week ago that he said this:

QUOTE
Aidan: I don't work for you anymore, zach, so I don't see how it's any of your business.

Zach: My business is whatever i decide to make it.

To me, this just reinforces the "do as I say, not as I do" attitude that he's had with Kendall for months now. And honestly, I'm sick of it.

Dinky - June 18, 2008 11:57 PM (GMT)
He basically shushed her. Zach is up in everyone's business, so he could've kept that little remark.

Kendall should've rolled her eyes.

Btw, Lish was smoking today in red.

I'm with JR. Does Zach realize how lucky he is? I hope so.

I think the affection (I always did love how affectionate they were compared to other couples) conflicts with the actions and dialogue that we've been seeing in the past few weeks. Years of scraps tossed our way does not a happy Zen fan make.

Not that my opinion matters though since I was given non-fan status recently but hey, just making convo.

It seems that all of his big, life-changing revelations (morality, faith, forgiveness, love) came in those weeks in the hole with Greenlee. We'll have to wait for another Grach shopping trip to see if he had that particular light bulb moment in the hole.

Jules we've been slapped in the face so much this past year by AMC I'm a llittle punchy. They give us crumbs and expect us to be greatful and it's not enough for me either. This couple deserves a good story of their own where they're not propping every loser that comes along.

Jermetria - June 19, 2008 12:23 AM (GMT)
I don't like that she's a child vibe they have going on now. She had a father...he's dead. She doesn't need another.

zenamo - June 19, 2008 02:40 AM (GMT)
Hospital - I think it was a really interesting combination of people at the hospital today. We've seen a lot of Zen, Ryannie, Graidan together, but by mixing things up and throwing Jabe in there, it really seemed like a whole different vibe going on. I liked it.

Zach and Kendall didn't get a whole lot of conversation, true, but there was a whole lot of communicating going on between them, and that was good to see. You guys are right--they do make beautiful background scenery. I loved how obvious their concern for each other was. The constant physical togetherness was a good thing. I didn't really want them to have a deep conversation with all the onlookers anyway. (I do hope we get that conversation though--I think it would go a long way to helping them work things out.) I loved them both individually today too; they were both mature, empathetic, considerate, and understanding where they needed to be, and neither got sucked into Greenlee's drama (no matter how hard she tried to make it all about her). TK and AM played it all really well. It was a good Zen day.

Ryan and Annie, well, they're just not gonna last long, and I can hardly believe I'm saying this, but it's really too bad. I thought it was well done on Ryan's part when he defended and supported Annie, and I was sorry for her that she had to put up with the Greenlee stress and the Richie stress. REAL Annie isn't crazy, just the Annie who has to be pushed out of the way for Rylee. Poor MCE. Oh well.

Greenlee and Aidan were pathetic, as usual. I surprised myself by feeling sorry for Aidan today. She calls, he comes running, she abuses him . . . it just seems to be that Aidan is, like Annie, being pushed aside for Rylee and that really must suck for AT.

JR and Babe didn't really bug me today. Usually the two of them are nauseating with their "I should have believed in you . . . " and "you're the best woman in the world . . . " stuff, but today, I just wasn't bothered. Probably because of all the other interactions they had with people. I even kinda liked Babe with Richie. She really told him--though his line about her family's DNA fixing prowess was freakin' hilarious!

Zach/Greenlee/Ryan/Aidan - I was really happy that the bonding crap didn't seem apparent at all today. Zach's "yep" was a thing of beauty as a reply to Greenlee's statement of her bitchiness. Zach also seemed more than a little disgusted with her behavior toward Kendall (re: outstretched hand) coupled with her jealousy of Annie. Zach's convo with Ryan was a nice gesture--he included Ryan as this concerned his family, but Ryan showed himself to a be a hypocritical ass. Loved how Zach just dismissed Aidan with a word and then walked away.

Kendall/Greenlee/Annie/JR/Aidan - Today was definitely Kendall of the enormous heart day. She reached out to Greenlee, but didn't push it when Greenlee was a bitch. She showed concern for Annie and offered to be there for her despite the chilly reception. She talked to Aidan with grace. But the best part, which I loved, loved, loved, was the convo with JR. Days like today make me heart JR Chandler. The apology from Kendall was great, and his in return was just as wonderful. They were both so heartfelt and you could see their friendship of old (I miss that!). I really loved the way JR spoke to her about the 5MS and his feelings about Zach being lucky to have her. Loved it. TIIC need to kick Kenlee to the curb and bring back the Kendall/JR BFFdom.

Martins - Meh. I like Tad and Kathy together and all, but the Tad/KWAK stuff was boring, and every time I see this Colby, I feel like she's subbing for the old one. She's like Kathy's babysitter, and it's weird. Oh well. Tad giving Aidan the business was a little odd--not that Tad giving it up is odd, but that Aidan seems to be getting dumped by everybody lately or something, so it seems like he's being isolated and will soon have no purpose in PV.

GO TEAM SLATER!!!
