Title: Try not to say I told you so, Kendall

I like AMC best when Kendall and Zach know more than the rest of the town. Good for Kendall for thinking Annie's a wackjob who sold Zach hubby out for no good reason, and for not backing down just because Greenlee's clueless. Even when she hugged Greenlee at the end of the episode, she wouldn't cut Annie any slack. Hey Greenlee--while we're playing the "What would you do if you were Annie?" game, how about this one: What would you do if you were Kendall and your man (who is thankfully not Zach) was sold up the river by Annie for no good reason?

I liked most of Zach's scenes with Annie. I liked that his B.S. meter saw through her lies and that he kept pushing without losing his temper. It's in character for him to want to help her, but IMO, after the fourth or fifth lie, he should have lost patience with her, and I'm not so sure he should continue to feel that her remarks to Jesse about his interactions with Richie are really nothing. He gave Annie alot of room, and all he got were lies. I think the two honest things she said were (1) she pawned the ring and (2) Ryan got his memory back. The rest was hooey. If this is whom Zach wants to save, I have to say, his standards have fallen. She's not Julia, Dixie, Hannah on a cliff or even Greenlee.

Fletcher. What a stock soapy character. And a waste of airtime.

Randi. What a boring, yelling character. And a waste of airtime.

Loved J/A getting it on in the afternoon. "My wife is a freak!" Hee!

Most of today was awful. I was not a happy camper.

Zach/Annie - Their scenes were the only bright spot for me. Zach is nobody's fool, and I loved his demeanor throughout today's interaction with Annie. I wish he wasn't quite so concerned with helping her though. Oh well. It just shows how compassionate he is. She's trying to come up with anything and everything to cover her tracks, but it's all falling apart. I wish we'd get to see Richie as well as hear him--BM was great with facial expressions and that'd be fun.

Kendall/Greenlee - I cringed the entire time. Kendall prostrating herself before Greenlee is not something I want to see--ever. And Greenlee as this guru of love and forgiveness is both totally unrealistic and totally nauseating. How much do you wanna bet that when she finds out that Ryan still loves her and that Kendall knew about it, she turns on Kendall like a rabid dog? I wish Kendall could extract herself from Greenlee. I really do.

Ryan/Tad - I liked Tad. I liked the Ted Orsini mention. I barely remember that storyline, but still. Ryan is just an ass, and frankly, that stuff with Greenlee happened like, two days ago, so why do they think we need a flashback to remind us?

Jesse/Fletcher - I like that he arrested him for being dumber than a bag of hammers.

Jesse/Angie - Blah, blah, Frankie, blah, blah, Randi, blah, blah . . . The Frankie/Randi crap is making Jangie boring.

Frankie/Randi - Good lord, that was awful. FFed it.

GO TEAM SLATER!!!

P.S. I wanna know what's happening to Erica! Where the hell is Josh? And why can't we have Zen together away from Ryannlee???

I totally hated the Kendall and GB scenes simply because once again everything that was written today was to show GB in this great light at the expense of everyone else. How easily Kendall forgave GB for almost killing her kids and yet Annie giving up Zach, and I'm not condoning what she did, isn't forgivable mainly because now that Kendall knows that Ryan still loves GB she has to justify her wanting Ryan to be with GB because Annie is bad. The writers seem to feel that if they get Kendall on their side we will all want it too (isn't that the same reason they had Ritchie hit Zach so that we would hate him because we were starting to root for him over Ryan). Whatever happened to Kendall wanting Aidass and GB together? Just because Ryan thinks today he loves GB the world must stop and everyone must work for that goal of putting him with his pea (of course tomorrow he may love someone else).

I am so sick of what they give Lish to do I could scream. Her main goal on that show is to prop these two and I don't see that changing any time soon. She should be involved with Zach in trying to find out who killed Ritchie but instead she's going to be miss matchmaker and be involved in their story (because we know they can't carry a story without her). Lish deserves so much better and I for one will not blame her if she leaves when her contract is up.

I totally agree that the Zach/Annie scenes were the highlight of the show. I'm only sorry that Kendall wasn't involved.

Watching Thursday's show, I got a reminder for the 7,589th time, that AMC and ABC can change their fan favorites on a dime. This is a complete reversal of Ryannie's wedding in May 2007 when I didn't have much doubt that he cared for Annie (though no way was she the love of his life) and Greenlee was the interloper. Frons was shipping Ryannie as a supercouple. MCE and CM were on the cover of SID. Worse yet, Kendall was shipping Ryannie and ordering Greenlee to stay away.

And here we are. A RealGreenlee and new HW/co-EP later.

I don't have a problem with Ryannie going the way of the T-Rex. I can't pinpoint one truly lovely thing about them, though AMC tried with the fairytale crap. Emma was a rewrite. She was supposed to be Kate, as we saw and Cady M. said. Ryannie can't go back from this. That's fine with me.

I can think of so many other stories I'd rather see than Kendall biting her tongue or wondering if now is the right time to tell Greenlee. But the one thing AMC is doing right (IMO) at this time is Kendall thinking Annie's nuts. And more than that, she's angry at her. I'm going to put aside her forgiveness of Greenlee because the Big G is in a category all her own on AMC, it appears. Where holding a grudge is concerned, AMC believes that only Tad and Adam are entitled to that story--until now. It appears that Kendall's distrust and dislike for Annie started when she broke into Greenlee's home and then didn't want Kendall's help, and reached a crescendo when Annie sold Zach up a river. Yes, I'm being manipulated, but I want one character on AMC to say that Annie is one messed up witch, and it appears Kendall is the one to do it, and she's got every reason. Even if ultimately it's to help get the audience on board with Rylee, I like Kendall's reaction now. I want it to continue and improve like a fine wine. And I want her to fire that crazy woman's ass, the way she said she would.

First of all, Kendall didn't forgive Greenlee in 2 minutes, Kendall forgave her after 5-6 months. That's not more easily than she's willing to forgive Annie.

Second of all, Annie is growing increasingly insane. Kendall is not irrationally making that up in her head just because "Rylee forever." At least that's not the impression I get with the spoilers I've read so far. Annie can be easily redeemed after some institution time, but "Rylee forever" propping doesn't negate that this is a woman who has killed and was telling her brother to get rid of people so she could keep Ryan. Just because Zach (and Kendall) says murdering Richie is cool doesn't make it so and doesn't make Annie's reasoning for killing a family member, or framing friends and teenagers, any less insane. Kendall doesn't like Annie at the moment because she tried to throw her husband in jail, that's why she's not all that sensitive about the insanity or Ryan's feelings (I actually do hope she softens up, while still being firm on finding out the truth, while Zach firms up on letting go of his massive control/Save a Ho issues - both of them need to stay out of the couples angle here). Zach playing Captain Save a Ho (keeping her in a loveless marriage, covering her crime/insanity), is not is what is going to end up helping this woman. Fortunately Annie, unlike the others, doesn't seem like she's going to allow Cpt. Save a Ho take control.

WORD Angela!!

Kendall only forgave Greenlee after months of hating Greenlee, a revenge plan and the Hole of Redemption. So the road to forgiveness for Kenlee was far from easy or quick. I wish that Kendall hadn’t forgiven Greenlee, but she did. And if Kendall eventually chooses to forgive Annie, fine, but it will also be fine with me if Kendall does not want to forgive Annie either. Annie is a damn nut job right now and has now betrayed the Slater’s, so IMO Kendall has every right to be pissed at Annie.
