Title: So that's what Zex looks like! (I forgot.)

Jules - July 28, 2008 06:29 PM (GMT)

A big thank you to AM and TK for bringing sexy back. We didn't know Zach would plan a getaway for Kendall. Didn't know there'd be Zex. Didn't know that "lecturing" would be a personal plea to let Ryan live his own life. (Gotta wonder about AMC, though: They scoop "lecturing", like this is something I'd want to see and tune in for, but ignore Zex. Brilliant marketing move, I say. Einstein-like.)

I liked Zen's conversation pre-Zex. I loved the adlibs right before Zex. "Do you have a ticket?" is a lovely reminder of Chugga Chugga Choo Choo. Kendall being ready to take her clothes off. Damn, I love TK and AM when they're allowed to play more together.

And yes, I forgive AMC for not giving us Ian's birthday party today. They should have given it to us last Friday or even tomorrow, but today Zex worked for me.

Addie Walsh, Addie Walsh. With all the subtlety of a sledgehammer, you wrote Kendall saying things she didn't really mean just to cover her ass, but still she sang Rylee's praises. She laid it on so thick, I need a jackhammer to wade through the crap. I get it. AMC wants Rylee, so Kendall must sing their praises some more. Ok. It's a crock because no one honestly felt that way about Rylee, but it's the same with Kenlee being Magic, so I get it. It's a patented AMC move. But one day, I'd like to see Zach's "Ryan's a big boy" speech become the mantra for Zach and Kendall because this is not fun to see.

I'm on pins and needles to find out if Fletcher's going to be OK. Fingers crossed. Babette and Celine (Randi's friends and fellow hookers) were wondering, too, so I'm in good company. Why am I watching this dumb story?

Heh.

Well said, Jules.

AMC is saying many things through Kendall, but the scary thing is I fear she's supposed to see clearly what the rest can't. She oversold Rylee, to deflect from her slip of the tongue, but AMC is clearly saying Rylee is the way and the light (which they aren't), and clearly saying that Annie is nuts (which she is).

It was heavy-handed writing for a couple that no one wants to see. If there was a huge portion begging for Rylee it wouldn't need to be sold this hard.

GH is doing the same thing with Lulu so I'm not surprised. Every third character tells me how much Lulu is kittens and bunnies, and how she's just like her mother. Pfft.

The last 20 minutes and most of Zach's dialogue spoke for what we'd like to see and hear, but we clearly aren't going to get that as much as we're going to be taught the rest through the people we like and want to see.

Just because Jackson and Kendall say RyleeIsLove doesn't mean I'm going to give a shit. I'm still going to say "meh" and "bullshit".

It's just sad to see a glimpse of what TK/AM could be if given scripts that weren't about pushing plot and couples no one likes.

They sure are pretty though. :)

One of Zach's finer lectures if I do say so myself.

The more they push for the Rylee love the more they will alienate viewers and today was the biggest crapfest yet. In fact, Ryan is taking a beating on the boards and hated more than ever.

I know why Kendall was saying what she did but it made me absolutely sick to hear it come out of her mouth. Kudos to Lish for her professionalism. I would have taken the script and told them to stick it where the sun don't shine.

I'm glad Zach said what we're all thinking (Enough of Ryan).

I'm sorry ladies but the little of Zen I got does not make me feel good at all but worse because, again, it was too short and it makes me miss what we're not getting and why does GB get to undress and Zen can barely take their clothes off. YES I'm bitter.

Also, for a show that's cutting the budget why did we need a new set when they have a perfectly good bedroom. For months we saw them on the couch because they couldn't afford to give them a bedroom set and now they have one they're going to a room somewhere (don't they own a hotel).

Sorry, no complaints here. All I saw was the HAWT & SEXY ZEN back on my screen! :yay

Well, so far I have only seen bits and pieces of today's show, but still I saw all I needed to see!! The Zen scenes were HOT, and TK and Lish were awesome in those last couple of scenes!! I also loved how Zen were cuddling up to each other at Confusion. They looked so sweet all cuddled up together.

Thank Lavery I didn't eat before watching the first half of that show or I would have hurled. Yes I know why Kendall was saying what she said but it made me sick hearing it come out of her mouth not to mention all the talk of Ryan. GMAFB

Thank Lavery for the save by Zach and the HAWT ZEX. They make you forget everything else (they do like couches don't they).

Kassey I agree that they are not doing Rylee any favors. The more they talk about them the less people are liking them.

They are so overselling Rylee, like the second coming. The whole thing just leaves a bad taste in your mouth. What is worse they are using Kendall to do it. Why can't TPTB learn from their past mistakes..overpromotion only gets you negative results. The more they pimp Rylee and especially Ryan, the more these characters are turning off the audience. Today could have been a high ratings program if they had spoiled the hot Zex scene instead of the "lecture" event regarding the "average" people.

I realize that the words out of Kendall's mouth were a way of backtracking from having revealed to Greenlee that Ryan was still in love with her. However, AMC clearly used that opportunity to pimp the Rylee pairing to the point of humor. Yes, I actually thought it was so ridiculous that it was funny....in fact if I were given a choice, today I would choose Graiden over Rylee. I do have to agree with Zach they are just average people, with emphasis on "average" as opposed to "Wonderful" Kendall and "Incredible" Zach... and they sure were that today. No matter how short and how edited, Zen is a class act and TK and AM always deliver with taste and style.

I do however miss that Ian's birthday was not mentioned. That is an oversight by AMC that will be hard to forget.

You aren't going to hear me complain about anything on the show today either. Kendall and Zach were on fire today and that is what I am interested in. I can't wait to see it all over again on Soapnet tonight!!! That was one of the best zex scenes they have done!! Love love love it

amrocks200 - July 29, 2008 12:23 AM (GMT)
I was happy to see a little zendall alone time today AM and TK are GREAT actors!!!! :yay

What is getting very old is that when Zach and Kendall aren't together they are talking about either Greenlee or Ryan with someone else, and the majority of the time they are together they are talking about Greenlee or Ryan.

They have so much more that to talk about that would be more interesting.

Loved that we finally got a more than two second scene of Zen together. It's so amazing what they do with so little time.

I want to know where to sign up for a "lecture" like that. I think Kendall may be interferring for a while, just to get her "lectures" from her hawt hubby.

Jules perhaps it was not promoted to prevent any dramatic "spike" in ratings with the new "super couple" coming soon...you know if you eliminate the competition you control the outcome of the game ( that is what the IIC would choose to believe)

I was delighted by the Zen time and by the comment of the "average people" because we all know there is nothing about this pairing that is average.

zenamo - July 29, 2008 01:54 AM (GMT)
Ryan/Annie - Well, it seems we've moved on from the bug-eyed stare to the blank stare. Okay . . .

Frankie/Randi - Well, at least her shrieking for Frankie to stay away from her has stopped.

Jangie - Alas, still shrieking there. Shut up already, Angie!

Kendall/Greenlee - Ugh. I could barely make it through that round of Rylee pimping. I mean, seriously?! Just, ugh. Glad though that Kendall did say it was the "big, silly excuse." Oh, and it reminded me of the Rylee pimping she was forced to do in November '05 before Ryan knew she was even pregnant . . . remember that scene at the bar? I always hated that stuff, but then, it didn't lead to Rylee that time, now did it? Hmmm.

Zach/Aidan - I love that Zach's back to the snark and wanting to get away from these oh so average people. He knows their pathetic relationship is doomed, but it's not his problem. And Zen actually did get to get away. I mean seriously--Zen actually got to leave their "friends" today and go off to be alone. Yay!

Zen - Last, but certainly not least . . . Zen. I was not expecting them to escape the revolting company of Graidan, let alone get a scene in a new location, but holy hawt zex scene, Batman! Wow. I'll take my lecture any time. Forget the average people, all right! I mean, it's always a good thing when Zach's wearing that blue shirt, but yowza! If only the shirt had actually come off . . . They are just too hawt. Loved it. No one else even comes close! (I'm still annoyed that Ian didn't get a party though.)

GO TEAM SLATER!!! :yay
