Title: Snark Central

There are two things I'm enjoying from this Ryannie/Graidan(Ailee)/Zendall storyline: (1) Any Zen touches, kisses, pats, massages and caresses, which still make anything the other couples do pale by comparison; and (2) Kendall bringing the snark with Annie, and especially with Zach about Annie. I am loving that. Kendall is a funny character, and AM can do comedy so well. At least she's been getting in some zingers.

Otherwise, the rest of this story sucks like a dustbuster, and I'm going to try not to comment on the total lack of logic about some of the moves these characters have made lately. Debating motives in a story that has no consistency, no throughline, for most of the characters, or that has motives but those motives make my skin wretch, is a waste of time. I thought that the Vegas scenes would clear things up for me. Nope. So I give. It's a bad story, and we all deserve better and that includes the actors.

About the Fusion story, Babe needs to be hit in the head with a lug wrench. It's clear that AMC has decided Kendall is the big bad baddie in this story, even though there are two owners of Fusion, and one of them has made one hell of an effort to make things right with the employees. Whatever. When AMC decides to screw Kendall over, much as I don't want to see Babe Carey Chandler Chandler Chandler Chandler or whatever her name is win the day, I want Kendall to do something, anything other than go back to Fusion. She can sell ice cream at Ben & Jerrys. I don't care. But using Kendall as AMC's punching bag isn't acceptable to me, and not for the likes of Amanda and Babe.

I just love this post Jules. My new favorite line is SUCKS LIKE A DUSTBUSTER.

I have to admit that I have loved Kendall’s snark towards Annie and Lish’s delivery of that snark has been perfect. Today, I loved when Kendall was telling Zach to come on (and go into the wedding chapel) “ It won’t kill you” then under her breath she said “unlike other people” meaning Annie, that was funny.

But unfortunately the Ailee/Graidan wedding just made me want roll my eyes. I am just not buying Greenlee’s love for Aidan.

And when Annie was clapping and telling Aidan to kiss Greenlee at the end of today's show, I could not help but think she acted, looked and sounded like my three year old niece when she gets excited. It is cute from a three year old, but that kind of behavior is just annoying from a grown woman. I want Annie gone and I want it yesterday.

Ooh, loved the relay! So unexpectedly cool there at the end!

Zen - I wish they weren't trapped in this storyline, but I loved how connected they were today. They talked it out and then were all over each other. Nice. I was glad Kendall got herself under control a bit more today and that Zach talked her out of going off half-cocked, and that Zach opened up some more with her. I feel like if she knows what's going on, she's less likely to do something rash. And there were some good snarky lines in there too--the "all bets are off," "it won't kill you . . . unlike some people," and the "I don't crash weddings" (I swear, Zach must be the only resident of PV who hasn't crashed a wedding) and "I'm too old for this shi . . . "

Rylee/Graidan - Ugh. How they all make me gag. Saccharine and phony.

Dre/Cass/Colby/Pete - Dre and Cass trying to act like star-crossed lovers is not working for me. Colby wasn't quite as rude to Pete today, but I still don't like her. Pete was better. Toned down, and I guess they're trying to start the de-geekifying process by getting rid of his glasses. Subtle, AMC.

Amanda/Randi/Babe/Carmen - How much do I loathe Babe and Amanda right now? Lots. That's how much. Not Greenlee levels, but UGH. I agree with you completely, Jules, about Fusion. Carmen was okay, except she didn't stick up for Kendall at all and that sucked. I don't know how she knows Randi, but if Carmen gave up the Fusion job, where's she gonna work now to avoid getting sent back to prison? The Comeback? Cambias?

Tad/Jesse - Okay, I know those scenes were a little realism challenged, but MEK and DW are fantastic together and had me cracking up. Plus, if Derek were still in charge, they wouldn't even be figuring any of this stuff out and Zach would be in jail.

GO TEAM SLATER!!!

The only thing that I have enjoyed in this disjointed never-ending s/l of Annie and her obsession is the comedic banter between Kendall and Zach. They are two strong characters and though they have been relegated to being the background for Graiden and Ryannie, they are the ones that are making this show watchable.

I agree with Jules that AM does comedy well and IMO TK is the perfect partner. Their comfort level on screen is a thing of beauty. They play so well off each other. Having read various commentaries on the boards it is interesting to note that posters are paying more attention to Zach and Kendall's nuances on screen, than the front and center s/l.

I do like the Tad and Jesse scenes as well. The actors and the characters have a great dynamic. MEK does humor well and I am glad to see the comedic Tad back. Jesse is the perfect partner.
