Title: Fixing the world's problems

Thanks to the soap gods for giving AM some great comedic material to sink her teeth into, at long last! I actually was LMAO during many of Kendall's scenes today, from her snark with Annie, to her attempt to help Zach (and I gotta give credit to TK for playing the straight man with frustration but also love because I never thought Zach was that angry with Kendall, despite all her shenanigans), to the conversation with Trent the Bartender at ConFusion.

I so want to see Kendall in a different storyline than this, but if this is her story, and if this is Zen's conflict for now, at least AMC brought the funny today, and on a number of occasions, I've asked AMC for just that after I've watched an unfunny episode where the opportunity was lost. May they keep writing it for comedy and/or romance.

And damn if AM doesn't deliver the funny every time she's asked.

I wish that AMC would do more than just give us an Ian reference. It's pretty insulting that I get to see Little Adam and Baby Jenny, and Kathy in a frontburner storyline (!!!), but I haven't seen Ian in more than 2 months. GMAB.

Where is Aidan getting all this money? Money to pay for multi-rounds of drinks at ConFusion, money to buy Greenlee bling, money to buy 10 acres of land?

Kathy, meet Annie. Annie, meet Kathy. You two have alot in common. Those are two psychotic women, that's for sure.

Also, a round of applause to Ryan for telling Annie that Kendall and Greenlee have a few reasons to think that Annie's off her rocker. At least he finally admitted as much to her today.

Today's show made me LOL for most it, and that's better than cringing.

I thought Kendall was hysterical in her ranting to the bartender that couldn't get away, and I floved that she knew Zach didn't want to hear it, knew she was annoying him, and did her own thing anyway. At times that's how a girl's gotta roll. Sometimes you have things on your mind and they just won't go away, and she doesn't have to feel the ground will be pulled from under or that her man will leave her simply because her focus is shot or she's talking too much.

A month ago I didn't see that confidence and today I was glad to see it return.

She seemed confident today that yes she's annoying him, and yes he's tired of the drama, but he isn't going anywhere. That's funny and realistic to me for a marriage of Kendall's.

It's apparent her focus is shot, and that fixing what she determines are problems (Rylee aren't together, Annie is crazy, and Erica might lose Jack), is going to be an issue she'll have to overcome. Her companies are NOT fine, and she's going to kick herself for not being on point later.

Kathy's issues are realistic, and I'm glad they are being shown, but I don't agree with Kwak's pushy approach anymore than Tad's candyass one. It was odd seeing JR being the voice of reason, but I only wish it wasn't accompanied by Carey propping.

Annie is unraveling quickly. One minute she's angry and the next she's crying and whining with apologies. All I can say is that MCE is doing a good job, but it's a little unsettling to see Ryan being the suppportive husband trying to deal with the nutball when we know the agenda at work here. Bitch crazy, though.

Adam/Pete - comedy gold. I miss Palmer and would've loved to see him in today's scenes sparring along with DC.

Finally, Carmen, Carmen, Carmen. I love the friendship between Erica/Carmen, and find it completely OOC that she'd date Jackson, and also pretty damn assy that Jackson would attempt to date Carmen w/o talking to Erica first. I don't care what went down between Jack/Erica. Carmen isn't that type, IMO.

Stupid move, AMC.

the only part of the show I am ever concerned with is Kendall, Zach, and Zendall and their family.......today, I saw some of the old Kendall...the Kendall that is "CONTROLLING", the Kendall that needs everyone and everything around her to be perfect......

AM, was definitely in her element today with the funny......

I hope we get to see some more of Trent, the bartender listening to Mrs.Slater.....I didn't think Zach was upset with Kendall at all....and it was evident by the way he was staring at her when they were at confusion, before they went their separate ways.....

but, I'm not sure AMC meant for the confusion scene or Zach's response to Kendall to be "funny entertainment" however, when it comes to Zen, you can be sure they will make whatever those loser writers write their own and act accordingly....thus, AM brought the funny and Zen totally owned what few interactions they had...

Zen et al. - Okay, I thought there was some funny stuff there today, but yes, the "more apart than together" aspect of it still bugged me. I loved watching Zach fix stuff, but was hoping he'd take Kendall in there with him. That would have been good. And at the bar, I actually liked Kendall ranting to the bartender. Honestly, saying she needed a lobotomy was kinda hilarious--and she kinda does in terms of her Rylee obsession. I think it was good for her to be able to vent--she needed to get it out, and since every time she starts to do that around Zach, he wants to shut her down (totally understandably, of course), or even around Ryan (who pulls out the emotional blackmail card--bastard), she never really gets a whole entire rant out of her system. Hopefully, that's what happened today and she can tone it down and focus on other things. Zach turning around when he heard her did strike me as funny.

I didn't particularly care for either Zach's or Kendall's interaction with anybody at Confusion aside from the bartender. (Hope Zach tipped him well when he shook his hand!) Jackass is, well, a jackass. Graidan is obnoxious, and their lovey-dovey crap is nauseating. Carmen, well, the whole Carmen/Jackass thing is just unappealing. I'm glad she fled.

I too wish that Zen had gone home though!!!

Tad/KWAK/JR/Babe/Kathy - The Martin-Carey Mutual Propping Society is disgusting. If I have to hear one more time how wonderful JR is or how understanding KWAK is . . . ARGH!!! I'm glad they didn't just have Kathy go all insta-family with KWAK. That girl is downright creepy though.

Ryan/Annie - Annie is just not subtle. Her manipulations aren't as clever as she'd like them to be and she's gonna have to stop using ER visits when she gets in a tight spot. Ryan is definitely losing patience. As to whether or not he's catching on . . . who knows? That blank stare is hard to read.

Adam/Colby/Pete - Okay, I'll admit it. I loved Petey today. He was toned down a bit, and he cracked me up. He had some great one-liners in there too. Adam popping a vein is always a hoot. I just wish Palmer had been there!

GO TEAM SLATER!!! :yay
