I got to finally watch the show and I have to say I personally enjoyed Kendall and Amanda's conversation. I'm enjoying their interaction. It feels like Kendall sincerely cares about Amanda or is making an attempt to look out for her as a big sister would a younger one.
I know from reading on some MBs some feel Amanda is useless at Fusion or this is more Kendall propping however in this situation I have to disagree. Many felt Amanda was childish and silly at the Fusion team building seminar Kendall had on the fourth. I happen to disagree with some of that and agree with some but I have to admit I did laugh my ass off when Amanda told Annie to "grab her hair" "pull her earrings". Even now its funny too me and it was refreshing comedy even if the real business world doesn't work like that. And Chrishell's comedy was funny and much needed at that time.
No matter who the writers give the credit to, in all honesty it was Amanda who spear headed the idea for the new campaign and though it happened on a whim sometimes that's the working world, it's a least the creative world. You need individuals who aren't jaded or bound by the rules they already know. You need fresh and youthful ideas that aren't confounded to a particular structure and that's what Amanda offered and that's what she can continue to offer Fusion if she goes there and works. We haven't seen anything in her professional resume to suggest to deserves to be there but it doesn't means she doesnt. I have to be honest, as far as I'm concerned, I saw in one day her initiate a concept that has now turned into a full fledge campaign for the company. That's more than I've seen Di or Annie contribute.
I would also like to continue to see a sisterly relationship develop between Kandy since Binks is no longer on the show. Yes, JR is a slime ball and yes IMO, Amanda could do better. Kendall had a very grown up conversation with Amanda concerning JR. She didn't belittle Amanda and treaded very lightly with her words of advice to Amanda about JR. It was motherly and sisterly at the same time. I enjoyed them and hope this is the start of nice relationship between the two ladies. I want to see women on the show have more than superficial relationships. I'd like to see "frienships" and "bonds" and it can start with Kandy. If Amanda shows a lack of loyalty to Kendall, I have the right to change my mind.
I agree, Erica.
With what is going to happen between Kenlee, and Babe possibly leaving, they need to give Kendall and Amanda both another friend. As long as they don't let JR manipulate Amanda into helping him get back at Zach through Kendall I'm good with them being friends.
I actually think they have more in common than both Kenlee and Amabe(?)
