Kendall Hart: Chip Off The Old Block
* Hartbeat: Kendall is the product of rape. Her mother, Erica Kane, was raped at 14 by Richard Fields. Erica gave up the child and then blocked the whole thing out. Kendall was adopted by the Hart family in Florida.
* The Hart Is A Lonely Hunter: When Kendall came to Pine Valley in 1993 and Erica didn't immediately accept her, it was all out war. Among her most notable crimes against Erica were lying that Erica's then husband Dimitri raped Kendall, causing Erica to stab Dimitri; bringing Richard Fields to Erica's trial; lying on the stand that Erica knowingly stabbed Dimitri; co-authoring a (never published) tell all book about Erica and generally acting like a bitch. The two finally reconciled in 2003 when Kendall nearly sacrificed her freedom to protect her sister Bianca, and Erica saw how much she had changed.
* You Have My Hart: Initially enemies, Kendall and Greenlee Smythe became friends when they created Fusion Cosmetics. It's a thin line between love and hate, as evidenced by Kendall and Greenlee's fierce devotion to each other---and willingness to totally destroy the other one. Right now, Kendall's out for Greenlee's blood for Greenlee's momentary kidnapping of Spike, which resulted in his deafness.
* Hartache: Like her mother, Kendall has left a string of men in her wake! She's happily married to Zach Slater, but past beaus include Ryan Lavery (he dumped Kendall twice because of her vendettas against Erica and Greenlee); Aidan Devane (once again the Erica problem, plus her jealousy of Maria Grey); Del Henry (they were engaged but broke up); Anton Lang (he was angry over Kendall's scheming); Michael Cambias (he eventually raped her sister) and Zach's son Ethan (this time she dumped him because of his vendetta against Dad).
