Now that we know the Emmy Nominees will be announced on April 20, 2008, I thought it would be cool to start this thread. What Kendall scenes would you choose for Lish's Emmy reel?

Seriously, stuff from the SS story line and Crash. She has a lot to pic from. Maybe she can send in a few reels.

She didn't say much.... but I really loved that scene on the hospital bed where she just cried and let Erica hold her. Never in my life have I seen Kendall so vulnerable.
*sniff* That made me cry like a baby.

Maybe even Susan Lucci can send that in, I really loved it.

All I can say is, "I want my babies now, I want my babies now!" If that shit doesn't earn Lish a nod, I don't know what will. Lish was on fire that day. It still gives me chills when I think about it.

I have to delurk to co-sign on this. That ep was some good stuff from Lish, Susan, and TK with the Myrtle phone call. Kendall at Spike's crib was very moving, as was her scary detatchment hearing about Ian's surgery. But the Erica holding Kendall as she weeped made it gold!

I think you can submit two episodes for consideration, right? I would go with that one above 7/30 and Ian's birth/Kendall sees Spike ep 7/26. That would have to at least earn AM a nod although Gina Tongonini, Maura West, and Melody Thomas Smith have been on fire this year too. That Best Actress race is going to be fierce!

I can't pick one simply because there are too many. The first three weeks of the crash story were just phenomenal.

But I have to agree with Crys... the "my babies" gets me every time.

Yep, the "my babies" one, I think that one even freaked TK out LOL. And since you should go with one drama and one more light, I'd say go with telling Zach about "lefty". We're pregnant was a great scene. Or ohhh the bowling scene!!!

I agree with Crystal. Alicia should summit the “I want my babies” scene. She did a phenomenal job that day and of course everyday, but that day was beyond great. I was crying like a baby during that scene.

ITA. The whole episode on 7/26 was heart-wrenching, and during the "I want my babies, bring me my babies, I want my babies now!" Kendall's anguish was raw, visceral, excruciating, and felt really real - AM played it to perfection! There's no way on earth that she could lose with that clip, IMHO.
