I love Kendall, but why - oh why - are the writers having her write a book when Zach is missing??? That doesn't seem like something she would do. I loved when Erica burst in on Friday and said "Who are you and what have you done with my daughter?!"

It makes no sense to me, and I heard it was supposed to be a novel loosely based on working at Fusion with Greenleech, so that means it'll probably be all happy reminiscing about the Kenlee magic garbage - some kind of lame attempt to bring Kenlee back to life. Um, UGH!!! :angry: I want Kenlee over now and forever!!! Stupid writers.

What do you guys think about this book thing?

I think it should be interesting. Especially if they have the characters acting out what is supposed to be happening in the book. But based on what we saw on Friday I don't think that will happen.

I don't want Kendall and Greenlee to be friends again anymore than the next person but I think that TIIC have gotten that clue yet. They'll keep pushing them on us until we cry Uncle.

Yeah, I just despise Kenlee, so the writers really need to re-evaluate this stuff - they can mull it over on their strike time. I'm also really, really, really sick of Fusion too so I just don't care about the book thing unless it's gonna be much different than I'm expecting. I want Greenleech and anything Greenleech related to be completely eliminated from the show in such a way that Kendall never feels guilt or remorse about her ever again and the Kanes and Slaters can live happily ever after - or at least Green-free! :lol:

I'd much rather have Kendall writing letters to Zach, or keeping a journal for him about Ian's homecoming or something so that even though he missed it (still totally pissed at the writers for that one :angry: ) he can have some kind of record of it to share in a little. Fingers crossed that this book thing isn't as bad as I think it'll be . . . .

I actually like this idea a hell of a lot better than I like the one that they are going to pimp.

Hmmm . . . I was just thinking about the title of the book. It's Charm, right? Well, didn't Kendall call Ian her "good luck charm" the day she brought him home from the hospital? And didn't she say, "if I take him home, then Zach will come home to us too" or something to that effect?

If the book's about Ian for Zach, then I can get behind it, and if Kendall must write some drivel about Fusion later, once everyone's safe and at home, then it won't matter so much. Frankly, I'm just glad that Kendall was on the rampage to find Zach today! That was awesome - love that she told Aidone off! :lol:

I have no idea how this will be played out on the show. But I will admit that I'll probably buy the book. I figure it'll be kinda like reading a fanfic. In fact, I feel extremely jealous of the person who got to write it.

Em, if we were choosing fic writer's my vote would go to you. Seems Like Years is still a fic I go back to and read repeatedly. Actually, I think I need to just print it out and bind it.

Okay, gals! I sent Lish an e-mail because I remembered a couple of years ago when they had Kathy Brier doing book signings because her character Marcie wrote a mystery book on OLTL and they sold it in stores. Anyway, I asked Lish if she will be doing book signings, and she said yes!

When I first heard about the book, I was surprised. I thought it was kind of random but I am really looking forward to reading it. I hope it's more about her and Zach than her and Greenlee.

OMG now I gotta get the book and if Lish signs it I'll be on cloud 9 :D

I did print it out, It was a great story. :D

I was beyond disgusted that GB not only read the manuscript of Charm!, but then called people about it. I'm getting my MA in Book Publishing. What GB did was SO INCREDIBLY WRONG!!! :angry:

Okay, so I read the excerpt on the ABC site. Dear lord, it's awful. I mean, seriously, atrociously, pathetically AWFUL. It's poorly written, and the plot is ridulously bad and so god-awful cheesy. I didn't have high hopes for it in the first place, but it's even worse than I imagined. :angry:

I don't like this storyline and I don't like the book that has unfortunately arisen from it! :angry:
