As if it's not ludicrous enough that Kendall became a published author overnight, AMC has had her become a BEST-SELLING author overnight and a big enough (overnight) celebrity to have accrued an obsessed fan stalker. Whatever the show was trying to accomplish on the Aidan/Kendall front by having him help her escape the stalker's would-be rape, couldn't it have been achieved without victimizing Kendall? Kendall is the product of rape and her sister survived her own horrifying sexual assault — this is too serious an issue to be used as a cheap plot ploy.

She speaks the truth. Rape is a serious subject and shouldn't be treated the way that AMC treated the attempt on Kendall. They were using it as a way to show Aidan as not such a bad guy and to have them reconnect as friends. Aidan and Kendall were friends before he decided that he was in love with Greenlee and that Kendall was a piece of shit on the bottom of his shoe. Maybe if they'd stayed true to that and refrained from the ONS fiasco we wouldn't be in this predicament.

It seems the only ones NOT getting it are those running AMC/ABC. Alot of things disgust me daily on AMC and this one is right up there. The near rape of Kendall Hart-Slater merely used as a plot twist to further some silly musical couples agenda and which will be swept under the rug by tomorrow as if it was nothing.

I love Mara Levinsky. Any other show, an attempted rape on a lead character would have weeks/months of repercussions for her and her marriage, but on AMC, it's a nightmare and then on to the booksigning!

It's all so badly written and thought-through that it makes me sad.

The writers have been treating Kendall like crap all year.

First they have one child kidnapped and another born premature; stalked and left with fear of another kidnapping. Then they have her husband missing for five weeks with Aidan continuously verbally abusing her; we have the, (very out of character for the mature Kendall), ONS. Now we have her almost raped, (something both her mother and sister went through). :bullshit

These writers must hate Kendall. Let's get rid of the writers. We love Kendall/Alicia!

AMC is all about making everyone on the show look good except their leading lady.
They want us to believe all is cool between Kendall and Adian and they used the attempted rape to do it. Rape and attempted rape is to important to whitewash by sweeping it under the rug. Yea Kendall freaked out yesterday and she had the dream, but I would think she needs to talk to someone other than Adian. Zach yes but maybe a therapist also.

It just seems to me that TPTB are so busy trying to make up for their own mistakes with the characters of Ryan, Greenlee & Aidan, they are not thinking about what they are doing to the other characters in the process.

They wanted to shake up things with the couples, so we get the Hole & ONS, both in my opinion totally bad decisions. The mature married Kendall would not have done what they had her do, and Zach Slater might have had a better appreciation for who Greenlee actually is, but he would never be her sudden BFF. Sharing more of his thoughts with her than with his wife.

Now we have stalker Ryan, with Zach all concerned about what he will do, and Kendall almost raped so she and Aidan can "bond". TOTAL :bullshit IMO
