Title: Confession is Good for the Soul

“I love you, and because I love you, I would sooner have you hate me for telling you the truth than adore me for telling you lies.”
~Pietro Aretino

I didn't have the opportunity to watch the show today because we were getting a new Gov. in NY. For those of you who were able to view, please feel free to share your thoughts.

I thought overall the show was pretty...crappy like it's been.

Erica/Kendall's relationship is becoming one I don't even like right now. She has no use for Kendall suddenly, and it seemed to happen overnight.

The Zen conversation surprised me because so little of substance was said. I'm left to wonder why she told him the truth, and why he didn't let on that he already knew. Just feels like more should've been said by both of them, and not just "you were right, and I was wrong. Again." Meh.

The Zaidan stuff was foolish, as was everything out of Greenlee's mouth.

Everyone else sucked as usual. :)

On a positive note, Josh had a few lines, and Zach and Kendall held on to each other here and there.

I flove your av, Dink.

Oh, the show? Didn't watch it. I hear Greenlee was "Hey Kettle? This is Pot. You're black!" today though. Ahhh. Gotta love it.

Erica, I felt sorry for Josh and Kendall because they clearly wanted to spend more time with her. I don't get why she wanted to begin her sentence right away. The writers haven't really made this story clear for me.

Ryan, this is the way this amnesia story should have gone all along. Him trying to remember Annie as a detour to Greenlee. See, there was no need for Kendall at all. I might have enjoyed Ryan's story somewhat, it if they had left Kendall and Zach out of it. It's a little too late to try and "fix things", now, but I appreciate the old college try to salvage this story.

Zendall ...I'm happy that they got some alone time together. It would have been nice if they were at home, but they shine no matter where they are.

I loved that Zach had his eye on her the whole time, and was really worried about her. I loved that he said they'd visit Erica as much as they could.

I'm glad she told him. I loved that she said that it wasn't only Erica bothering her, it was them. I liked that she also said she was tired and Zach voiced that she had a lot on her plate.

Once they were alone, I loved the music that was played, their looks to each other and that she mentioned how terrible she felt by not telling him everything. I also liked that he reassured her by saying that it was all he needed to hear. I love that Zach could care less about Ryan and his problems.

I loved that Zen were in the empty courtroom. I like to think that Zach made everyone leave so that he could be alone with his wife, so I'm going too.

I would have liked more, a longer scene, a different setting[home in bed, maybe], a more detailed account of what actually went on in LA from Kendall to Zach, but what I got today was enough for me. After two weeks of almost nothing, I'm cherishing every moment.

A little Zen goes a long way.

I believe that Zach knows that Kendall is keeping a big secret. However I do not believe that he knows what it is. Kendall has given enough hints with her guilty behavior for Zach to feel that she is holding back something very serious. I think in part today he was releaved that she came to him on her own and told him about meeting Ryan. He may feel that she is also ready to tell him more about whatever else she is hiding.

I was wondering why he hired Aiden to guard Kendall on her book tours, when he could have gone along with her or sent one of his own men. Aiden had failed him in the past guarding Greenlee. It could be that he suspects that whatever secret Kendall is keeping, is somehow involved with Aiden and Zach may feel that hiring Aiden might force it to the surface.

In today's show it was nice to see that Zach and Kendall were able to finally have a private conversation without the slutty leech that has attached herself to Zach. The converation could have been a little longer for my taste....like perhaps at least two minutes, but I guess these days we have to thankful for crumbs. As short as it was it was Zen precious.

The fact that they have not addressed the rape scene is making my blood boil....especially since Kendall is a child of rape and has a family history of her mother and sister being victims. To use that scene for shock value and as a plot point, so that they could use it as a comfort scene with Aiden and give Aiden the excuse to sleep in her room, is a slap in the face to all women who have gone through this nightmare. AMC and B&E have to be called out on it. They have Aiden telling Zach about Kendall meeting secretly with Ryan, but he doesn't bother mentioning to Zach that Kendall was nearly raped. I am so far totally disgusted with the lack of socially relevant priorities on this show.

I just opened a thread on this issue on the SOD/SOW forum:

I'm sad to say that I don't have the patience to watch the entire show, all I want to see is Zach and Kendall. If it's crumbs they give, it's crumbs I'll take.

While I don't want Kendall anywhere near Ryan and Aidan , I don't like that Erica thinks she ready to jump their bones as soon as she leaves. I don't think she needs to keep reminding her how Zach feels about her, Kendall knows her husband will die for her if need be.

Josh and Kendall looked like two lost souls when Erica was handcuffed, I felt so bad for them.
Although I hate Jack with a passion, I give kudos to him for setting GreenB straight (POT MEET KETTLE)

I'm ready for Zach to stop praising Aidan, he did not protect Kendall, she was almost raped and she got away and saw Ryan,.he needs to change professions because he's failing this one miserably.

Zach and Kendall just gorgeous, Kendall told him she lied and told him about Ryan, she needs to tell him everything. I wonder if Zach will tell her he already knew? Just the fact that they had alone time made my day.

I want the reveal to come out, but I'm not sure I want it now, I need Zach and Kendall to spend some time together with their children.

Kendall is so sad, about her Mother and about keeping secrets from Zach, I just want to hug her and make everything alright.

Okay, I absolutely love all your posts! I was working on my final papers all day today--took a break for AMC and agree with everything you've said!

Zendall - Finally! Together and alone. Thank goodness one secret is out. I really hope Kendall tells him about her would-be rapist soon. I'm so happy not only that they finally talked, but that it had nothing to do with GB. Even with the shortest scenes known to man, TK and AM manage to convey such a depth of emotion that I can't help but love them--and I don't want to! Fingers and toes crossed for improvements to come!

Kanes/Slaters - They are the greatest family. I, too, noticed that they were wearing matching clothes--loved it. There seem to be times when Kendall and Zach match, and when Kendall and Josh match, and here they were all matching together! It always looks great. Erica rocked. I love that her pep talks to herself are always "I'm Erica Kane." She cracks me up.

Jackass/Aidone/GB - Jackass and Aidone are still residents of DeadToMeVille, but they cracked me up with their GB smackdowns today. I laughed out loud when Jackass said that stuff about throwing stones and stinky timing. Aidone looked like he was finally realizing what a callous bitch he's involved with. GB is totally oblivious.

Annie/Richie - Annie sure is one hypocritical, self-righteous martyr. Whatever. Loved Richie again. When he's not being a total cartoon villain, he makes me smile.

Ryass - Are you freakin' kidding me with that?!

Frankie/Colby - Dude, has anyone figured out why he has such a bug up his ass in scenes with her?!

Creepy Uncle Rob/Opal - Run, Opal, run! Soooo creepy!!!

Jesse/Tad/Angie - Hate to say it, but they really bugged me today with their raging incompetence, constant screaming, and just the idea that they're gonna find a clue in that warehouse after twenty years.

GO TEAM SLATER!!!

I waded through this train wreck, just for my Girl....then Zach and then them together....I loved that she told him on her own, not because of what others wanted her to do.......I loved that she was upset by it....I kinda think she did it because Zach was giving waaaaaaaaaayyyyyy too much credit to Aidumb.....I loved that Zach seemed a little choked up, almost like he didn't expect her to tell him....

....and I too am having a problem with Erica thinking Kendall has no self control or true real love for her husband.....Kosh, did look really sad...with Erica in the middle...Love how Josh kept reasurring Kendall with rubbing her back, they have a really good sibling relationship.....although, I love when they are in cahoots.....

all of these good feelings, were about 5 minutes of show......
