Team Slater is so awesome, I could cry, and I actually started to when Zach first brought the boys to Kendall.

As I see it, we've had exactly two moments when Team Slater were all together on screen. First, when Kendall held Spike by the window of the NICU as Zach was in with Ian (but glass separated them), and second, when Zach was in the hospital, celebrating Christmas (but Josh was holding Ian). Now we finally saw them all together, uninterrupted for one segment and most of a second. I may have missed another moment right after Ian was born, but I don't think there have been more than these specific moments when all four were together (and Ian may have been played by a doll at that point.)

I know in my gut that the absence of family bonding scenes has been a deliberate attempt to lessen what the Slaters have and compare them to Graidan going steady or Ryannie's insta-family, and that makes me burning mad, but today, the facts can't be denied--Zen is a family that has struggled to survive against alot of odds and alot of villains (some of whom were also featured in today's show), and that's what soaps are about--romance and family. Why AMC turns a blind eye to Team Slater to pursue silly stories for Zach and Kendall, I don't know, but I will enjoy today for a damn long time.

Great post Jules. I haven't watched yet but after the LD and seeing the pictures I want to cry too and I probably will tonight. This is what soaps are suppose to be about love and family. This is why we watch and this is why AMC is in the toilet.

If you want to talk about insane and having nothing better to do with her time. I've found Lefty's PJ's at The Gap...LOL

Today was a well-balanced program IMO and the writing has improved. The Erica/Carmen scenes I thought were excellent. These two characters have an unusual chemistry. Both are strong determined women with minds of their own coming from opposite spectrums of society. Their interaction and conversations hold promise for an interesting s/l.

The foursome at Fusion was at least tolerable today. Having them removed from Zen’s orbit made it much easier to watch and listen without pushing the FF button. I actually enjoyed the characters for a change. Greenlee’s inability to keep anything secret, as long as it serves her personal needs, is hilarious. She manipulates every situation to satisfy her own ego-centric agenda and then just stands there like an innocent bystander taking in the consequences of the disaster that she just unleashed. I actually felt sorry for Aiden today. He does love her, but has no clue of her ability to destroy the lives of the people around her. She craves attention like a petulant child and then sucks the life out of anyone who comes in emotional contact with her. Kendall has always been her target, but today she left Annie, Ryan and Aiden in her path of destruction.

Zach and Kendall and their precious children were IMO the highlight of the show today. Many of us have waited so long for Ian, to make his appearance and today that precious baby was enveloped in the loving arms of his father. A truly memorable sight to behold. To see both children sharing a peaceful morning together with their parents IMO for a moment erased so much of the bad writing of the past few months. The Slaters are a family and their story belongs in the orbit of family relationships not bed hopping couples.

Team Slater Truly Rocks!!!

Great post Jules, there was the one scene where Zach was in his hospital bed, and he held Ian & Spike, while Kendall was sitting beside him

But yeah Team Slater scenes have been lacking with these writers <_<

Skull & crossbones pj's? Too cute ;)

LMAO! It must be nice to have free time. I can't even remember what it looks like.

I guess I should say something AMC related, huh? Ian rocks! eeeeeee! Yep, that's all I got.

LEFTY!!!!! He's so cute. OMG. He looks like a Baby Gap model. I'm such a dork, I teared up just seeing him in the pics and I haven't even watched to show yet.

Ian!!!!! Hot damn he's a cutie. The Cambias/Kane combined gene pool popped out another winner. Lefty is already taking after his daddy. You all noticed that Ian was calm, cool and collected even though Spike was pitching a fit right next to him when they first got to the room?

LOL! I noticed that too and pictured Zach saying, "That's my boy". Did Ian also give a "WTF you crying about, dude. Man Up" look to Spike?

I always like seeing Zen at home, and today seeing them with their children, was just... aahhh. It felt good and natural. Ian is very cute, with his chubby cheeks, and already seems to get along great with his 'mom' and 'dad'. He definitely played it cool when his big bro was freaking out. I must say too, that this Spike trip was cute rubbing 'mom's' shoulder and playing with her hair. Adorable. They truly do look like a real family.

That's too cute.... if only it was in pink, it would be perfect for my goddaughter. Knowing me, I'll try to get it anyways. LOL

Ian was too adorable yesterday, I say we keep him! :)
Normally the babies have their attention focused on TK, but this baby I think has a crush on Lish.... or at least a crush on Lish's fingers. LOL
