Title: Let's go on a field trip and I'll show you...

Yes, I know it isn't a Kendall quote but it had to be the line of the day for me. Today was good. I don't know if it's because I'm an on again and off again viewer, so that when I do watch I'm not bogged down with stupidity or what. Kudos to Courtney Bulger for a well written script.

Kendall/Greenlee: Kendall, the mom with all of the baby gear in her purse was cute. I know how that is. One day you look up and the diaper bag has been transferred to your purse. Why are we fighting over Ryan? Why is he in the middle again? DUDE! I've been asking that question since 2005. Now is the time to get the answer. Cuz seriously, he's not a real prize...IJS The vow that they will learn from their mistakes...let's hope that it rings true. At least there wasn't any pinky swearing this time. They realize that they are acting nutty over the guy when neither one really wants him. Kendall is enjoying the attention because it is her turn to be chased instead of doing the chasing. Greenlee on the other hand...though doth protest too much.

Angie/Jesse: They were great today! I know people have been saying they were over dramatizing and they were yelling a lot but damn if they didn't suck me back in. They have a new home, although why they want their adult son living with them is beyond me, and they are starting a clean slate. Now there's just that pesky problem about his being legally dead.

Zach/Ryan: I've been waiting for the day when Zach would throw all of Ryan's short comings in his face. Whenever shit would happen and Zach was responsible all of his deeds were tossed back at him. Well, today was his day and I enjoyed the hell out of it. I have only this to say: More Please!! The color commentary as he shows the THATMONSTER footage...PRICELESS! Field trip to the ant hill he pedaled his bike over... Again PRICELESS. Zach really worked the Ghost of Christmas Past, Present and Future.

Erica/Carmen: I wish I'd paid attention.

Another very good show!! AMC is showing lots of improvement this week and, hopefully, if the writers can stay on this track, it can only keep getting better.

I'm actually looking forward to Sweeps. First time since last July.

I loved the beginning scene between Kendall and GB, where GB looks in Kendall's bag and takes out a baby pacifier and sippy cup and says to Kendall "Wow you really are a mom" and Kendall smiles and agrees. I thought that said so much about how much Kendall has changed and grown and what her priorities are. Greenlee however has stagnated in 2005 and shows no growth whatsoever. The rest of the conversation was nothing more than Ryan propping by the writers to counterbalance Zach’s “This is Your Life Ryan Lavery” .

Kudos to Zach, for reviewing for those who may have amnesia along with Ryan about who Ryan really is.

Welcome back smart, lethal Zach Slater!!! Now I'm waiting for take no prisoners Kendall!!!

I loved the show, although I wasn't crazy about the turn the Kenlee discussion took for a while. (I liked the sippy cup moment, too, Diva. Shows how far apart Kendall and Greenlee really are.)

But I loved Zach--he reminded me of the Ghost of Christmas Past with Ryan, showing him all the things he's ever done, and I loved seeing Ryan's smugness turn as he had his lightbulb moment. That was good stuff, and a long time coming.

I agree that it was a very good show. I think the writers are making improvements and trying to answer what been wrong on this show forever.

I like Erica and Carmen today, but I thought that Alexis/Diane on GH played this story better.

Kendall's and Greenlee's Ryan worship/obsession and how stupid it was for them to be fighting over him in 2004/2005 was addressed.

Maybe TPTB have finally found out that Ryan's no great catch. We've been saying it forever, could it be that they are finally listening? Kendall and Greenlee's talk today kind of reminded me of the Friends episode where the girls burned all of their ex-boyfriends stuff as closure.

Kendall even pointed out that she felt like she was in high school sneaking off to see him in LA. She realized how stupid it was to go to such extremes to help him.

Their talk wasn't as deep as it should have been, but that's okay. For some reason AMC and Kendall/Greenlee can't have a deep meaningful conversation. I did love that they said that they needed to stay out of The Ryan Zone. If this is the story that will keep Ryan's paws off Kendall once and for all, yeah!!! I believed Kendall whole heartily when she said she was staying out of Ryan's business, but Greenlee, not so much.

I liked that Kendall had the Mommy bag. That "you really are a mom, huh" comment really pointed out how different Kendall's and Greenlee's lives really are. That bag to me was a metaphor for how much Kendall has grown and Greenlee hasn't. Hopefully they'll have separate story lines soon.

I also liked that Kendall said that it was Karma that Ryan loves her again after dumping her twice. It was kind of her way of saying, "I love Zach, not you. How does it feel? Not so great, huh?"

Go Kendall!

I loved Zach calling Ryan on all of his sh!t today. I loved that Zach was the one to show him what kind of a man Ryan really was. Every time Zach pointed out a "Little Lavery Fact", I screamed yes! All of that stuff had been whitewashed since he "returned from the dead". That was a problem with the show for too long. For too long, Ryan has been walking around like he's King of the Jungle or the Mayor of Pine Valley, like he could do no wrong. Well Zach knocked him off his moral high horse today. I felt like Zach was telling Ryan that there was a new sheriff in town. Zach's my hero and damn if he did not get hotter and hotter by the second today.

Zach Slater is back and I feel that Kendall is just around the corner.

Great show, I'm waiting for sweeps too. I haven't said that in a really long, long time either.

I guess I finally did figure it out, because for the life of me I couldn't
understand why Zach is showing Ryan what a jerk he'd been & then Kendall & Greenlee are extolling his praises. One negated the other. I guess I should've expected it. There's a lot more that Zach could've shown Ryan. He only scratched the surface. But I did enjoy the field trip!
