Title: Maybe you have amnesia too.

I didn't see much of the show, but I did catch that one line. Wow.

Discuss.

I'll dive in, and I don't mind being unpopular.

I enjoyed today's Zen scenes. I liked that they were uninterrupted and that they talked and argued. No lies, no guilt, no excuses. There was openness, anger, jealousy and underlying it all, love. There were no chairs thrown, no voices raised (too much).

The argument was not about Ryan. He was the catalyst, but the argument was about Zendall. Kendall feels Ryan is family and should be treated with respect. Zach feels Ryan isn't respecting Zach or his family, and all bets are off. Kendall is angry that Zach needed to be in control again and was cruel in his approach. Zach doesn't understand why Kendall is so enormously sympathetic to Ryan when her own world is crumbling. Underlying it all was a feeling that Zach was doing his own thing, and Kendall was doing her own thing, and they weren't a team, and they haven't been (where Ryan's concerned). I saw both sides. I liked that the argument was character-driven and realistic, IMO. And passionate, which makes you see why these two people belong together.

I even liked the last scene, when Zach tried to take Kendall's arm, and she shook loose and walked away from him in anger. This fight shouldn't be wrapped up so neatly, and it was nice to see them communicate, without 3rd parties or talking in code or words that have two meanings, for a change.

And I thought it was brilliantly acted by AM and TK.

Those two are always good with scenes like that.

I didn't mind the Zen convo today at all, because I really have been waiting for Zach to finally address the Ryan elephant in their lives. I did agree with Kendall that he should not have done it without discussing it with her first. Same old, same old, keeping things one from the other and not working as a team, but at least they are coming clean with each other....Kendall about meeting Ryan and Zach about showing Ryan his abusive past. They are learning slowly, but surely and the only way they are going to deal with this is if they talk... and yes, argue. They are both strong willed people and still have to learn a lot about each other.....things that love does not solve.

Did I agree with Zach about Ryan ? Absolutely. Did I agree with Kendall today? This time around, not that much. IMO Kendall is way too forgiving where Ryan is concerned and though she feels nothing more than friendship for Ryan and enjoys her ego being stroked by his attention, she has to realize that Zach is concerned about of what Ryan is capable of. I don't like the fact that the writing is making Kendall forget that Ryan drugged Zach to make him remember the painful past with his father, that Ryan was abusive to her and to Greenlee.

That DVD that Zach showed Ryan, he should have had Kendall, Greenlee and Annie there as well to remind them all about the past. Obviously they all need a reminder.

I felt that this conversation between Zach and Kendall was long overdue. They have not learned how to share... something they promised each other during their vows. They were both in character and passionate and most of all real. I just wish that we would have had more of their conversation without cut ins.

Jules, I want to marry your post.

Finally, we got Zendall in a room, talking, communicating, working out their own problems without anyone else's interference.[I might have to change my signature.]

They were very much their old selves today. The REALwriters[amanda, jeff, addie,&co] are doing a great job of bringing the characterization back to this couple.
I didn't have a single WTF? moment today.

TK and AM are awesome in scenes like this. It's nice to know that they might not have to work so hard anymore with the crappy, plot driven writing they had during the strike.

I can't add anymore to the posts of those who said that Zendall were really fighting about their issues and not Ryan. Not being a team was really what that fight was about. Zach even said it, "You're right. We need to be a team right now". Thanks to these writers, Zendall hasn't been allowed to be a team since B&E took over. They completely erased all the progress Zendall had made in their relationship during the faux affair and with the SS story lines.

I sense a change is coming. The REALwriters seem to be back. They did actually talk, instead of just dancing around the subject and ending it with a hug, or off camera make up sex.[As much as I wanted them too.]

Annie needs to back up off Kendall. Kendall hasn't done anything to encourage Ryan's blatant and disgusting pursuit of her. Saying that Kendall and Greenlee are competing over Ryan was wrong. Annie anger at Kendall is mis-directed. Should she be jealous, sure. But to be talking sh!t about Kendall to Aidan, heck no.
It's hard to give her the benefit of the doubt when she's saying stuff like that. Annie's being thrown under the bus too. I just don't care as much, though.

Ryan/Greenlee...the TPTB seem to be working really hard to fix Ryan so that he will except him with Greenlee again. That's why there were so many flashbacks of them and of what happened. He "now" seems to want to be a better man.[Not for his children?] It's sad that he's seeking Greenlee out and not Annie. He's not the least bit curious how Annie can marry a man like him knowing what he did? To me that says Rylee is coming. If Annie were the end game, it seems he'd turn to her. JMO

In a way, R/G are like Todd/Blair. They've done so much to destroy each other that many people didn't want them together. Rylee's the same way in some ways, in terms of destroying each other.[vasectomy, playing dead, monster, etc...stealing sperm, secret pregnancy, lying, etc], I guess this is how they chose to "get them back together". I just wish that TPTB had realized before they started this mess that Kendall and Zach didn't need to be involved in this story at all.

I loved the Zendall scenes today. AM and TK were both awesome, making the argument so real.

There were a couple of "what" moments for me, but for the most part I think both held their own.

I loved that Zendall was together with no interruptions. They argue almost as well and the love. Hopefully we will get more actual married couple reality scenes with them more often.

I totally hated that Annie thinks Kendall and Greenlee are fighting over the prize that is Ryan. Kendall hasn't done anything other than try to help Ryan remember for himself and Annie, not for her own purposes at all.

[SIZE=1]I too loved the arguement.....I thought it was an arguement that needed to happen........Zach, needed to tell Kendall that he was not happy about her seeing Ryan in LA......they both made excellent points and it was so very clear who ZENDALL is, and what they mean to one another........and also loved that there were no outsiders......
