Title: "I like it when your doable."

Damn. And this is why I love Zach and Kendall because there is no other pairing that could sell that line. No way. I love that they don't feel the need to agree on every topic of conversation. That's what makes them individuals in a marriage.

All in all some great dialogue today. Thank you, Michelle Patrick. I chuckled at Angie and Jesse today.... J: "How do you still look so good?" A: "That's easy. Your eyesight is bad."

Totally not true, Debbie, but a cute line nonetheless.

I'll make way for the rest of you who are so much better at summarizing your thoughts. I'll just leave you with some pretties.

Ok, I'll be brief. Zen opened with him giving her a massage along the lower part of her back (very, very sexy, IMO), and the last Zen scene was him kissing her goodbye. The reason I mention this is the physicality of Zen today. They argued. They dug in their respective heels. They don't agree and never will. But the love and the lust are there, and so is the respect. It takes maturity to leave it alone, as Zen did, and it takes a deep love, far deeper than what they're arguing over, to win out over the subject matter of the fight.

In between, we had more massages and kisses and nibbles and Zach walking right up to Kendall as they were both on their phones--very physical stuff. And they disagreed and argued, and each really does love the way the other is so damn stubborn.

Good writing, good direction. And best of all, damn good acting by AM and TK to show the love through the fighting.

I loved the show today. It was well written and balanced without too many characters on the screen like yesterday. Today we got more of a conversation between Zach and Kendall and most of all it was character driven and thus enjoyable, despite their disagreeing with each other. I think that Zach today gave Kendall a strong chance to come clean about the "grief sex" and I think that Kendall, from her expression, supects that Zach was hinting at something specific. Zach said "I prefer the truth no matter how cruel it is, just tell me, right to may face, but then that's me." I hope that Kendall decides to tell him soon.

I loved Zach and Kendall today. They were loving…they were snarky … they were passionate…..they were fun…. most of all they were real. They both defended their positions, did not back off, but handled themselves like a true passionately in love married couple and rather than walk out and let an argument fester, agreed to disagree and then made up. What a wonderful thing to see on a soap opera. TK and AM worked their magic today and all was well in the Zen world until the Green butterfly arrived.

I do have to say that though I love Kendall dearly and understand her concern for a friend, Ryan, today I was 100% with Zach. He sees the danger that Ryan poses to his family and his only alternative was to take drastic action. So, sorry dearest Kendall, but Zach is right. Ryan must know the whole truth about his past, not just the highlights, to able to move forward and deal with his amnesia.

Greenlee had some nerve barging in on Zach and Kendall and attacking Zach that his revelation to Ryan is all about Kendall. Of course it is and Zach has every right to defend his family from a man that poses a clear and present danger to them. It looks like some of Zach’s reasoning did rub off on Kendall and her advice to Greenlee made a lot of sense. Kendall was being a true friend to Greenlee trying to prevent her from making a life long mistake by going after Ryan. I doubt that Greenlee would do the same thing if their positions were reversed.

Zach’s concern for Aiden was so typical Zach. He could have just left to look for Erica, but after Greenlee’s arrival at their house he intuitively felt that something happened between her and Aiden and stopped at Confusion. It is a little unbelievable and plot driven that he would know where to find him, but I will let it pass this time, because it showed Zach for the man and friend that he is. Of course it is just a matter of time before that friendship erodes very quickly. Again if the roles were reversed, I doubt that Aiden would have done the same thing for Zach.

Angie and Jessy were adorable today. Loved how flashbacks were used to highlight the love these two share. In so many ways they are like Zach and Kendall and their chemistry shines from the screen. The return of this couple was a good decision and with the writing improving by leaps and bounds on the show it will be another love story that will be enjoyable to watch.

I wish I could say the same for Greenlee and Aiden. I did see some promise for them as a couple when Sabine played the role, but GB and AT IMO just are not believable. I actually felt sorry for Aiden today. He really looked devastated, but Greenlee I thought was her unmerciful self. Picking up a ringing phone while a man is proposing....that is a bit much.

Just a side note... I'm eagerly awaiting the initiation rights of the SLATER SPECIAL.

The dueling phone conversations.... that was amusing. The one way that could have been better? If he had started kissing on her neck just to make her lose her train of thought.

That would have been good. LOL

Jules - April 3, 2008 07:14 PM (GMT)
Ah, like when she started kissing him when they were at the bookstore in Chicago and he was changing his travel plans and lost his train of thought? Yep, that would have been off the charts hot!

Jules and Cheryl, I couldn't have said it better than the both of you, so I won't even try.

But I will add this. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You to AMC, the writers[not B&E] and particularly Michelle Patrick for realizing what roles Zach and Kendall should be playing in this story line. Supporting their "friends" and to try and keep them from making mistakes. Zach and Kendall are solid and each are trying to help. They made that very clear today.

I HATE that they care about Greenlee and Aidan, but I can understand both of them trying to help them in their own way. They consider them good friends, although I for the life of me can't figure out why.

I like that Kendall tried to actually talk to Greenlee. Of course she didn't listen, but what else is new. This conversation is the way their conversation at Fusion should have gone. It's clear Kendall's over Ryan. Greenlee, not so much.

I love Zach, [that Salt and Pepa song, "What a Man" comes to mind. I liked that he recognized that Greenlee was in trouble and needed to talk. I loved that he let Kendall handle it and left.

I even liked that he was trying to help Aidan, even though he shouldn't be. It's clear to me and finally the writers that Zach and Kendall are the grown ups here and they're trying to keep their grown children[I mean friends] from making mistakes.

"Not Ryan again, please. I can't grrr!"...I love Zach. That was definitely the line of the day, of the year, of the last 5 years!!! This show seriously needs to get over its Ryan fixation before I lose it. He wasn't even on today, I feel like he was on for the entire 36 minutes.

Zendall: :yay

Man, they were hot. Everything about them was spot on and classic Zendall. Kendall even got a little bit of herself back. I love how they do so much with so little.

I think they'll be stronger than ever, especially after today. I kept sensing that Zach was trying to tell Kendall in code that she could tell him anything. I think that's what that "You know me I'd rather hear the truth no matter how painful it might be." That was good Zen.

On a shallow note, I could have done without the rapid editing back and forth between Zendall and Greenlee/Aidan. If wasn't necessary and seemed really out of place. There was no need to cut away to those two scenes, they weren't even connected and would have only made sense if they cut to Ryan during the proposal.
It looks like the writers got it today, but the editors are a little confused. But whatever, in the end Zendall remained true to themselves and agreed to disagree in the best way. Thanks, Michelle.

Phyllis you typed exactly what I was thinking so I'll won't repeat it but I did want to say that I was wondering if Zach saying he would want to know the truth even if it's painful will be what leads Kendall to tell him about the ONS.

I also have to add how much I loved Kendall trying to get to Zach with her message to Ryass and how she did (I loved how TK played this). Yes a couple can disagree and still love each other just like we can disagree on this board and still love this couple.

I was so proud of the maturity Kendall showed with GB today. This is how it should have been since GB came back. GB acts like she's 18 .

Finally, the line of the day was definitely "Not Ryan again please I can't grrr..." I also liked "the Pope has made him a saint yet". GREAT LINES.

I really loved today's Zen scenes. Once again so realistic to a real argument between couples.

The dueling phone calls, and looks back and forth between one another were great. I also loved the agreement to disagree, I think Kendall is doable whenever she looks at her husband and he knows it as well as she does.

Once again AM and TK made me think I was looking into a window at a real couple.

Loved Kendall's shirt, and how hawt is TK in a sweater and jeans. Zach was just a doable as Kendall today. :thumbsup

I loved how Kendall was trying to talk to Greenlee as well, I know Greenlee wasn't listening, but Kendall was trying to talk some sense into her without going to the Ryan Zone that Greenlee seems to be stuck in at the moment. Also like how Zach actually realized that Greenlee needed to talk to Kendall without him there.

It's really great to be anxious for the next episode again, to see what's going happen.

You all have said everything so well, I just want to add that it's great to see our couple, the Real Zen back- I feel like there is a definite improvement in the writing. Wow, what a great feeling of "seeing the light" after being in the dark for so long- TK and AM were truly perfect today!

Today's Zen script was like a breath of fresh air. Love the snark, the looks, that neither backed down..but still cannot keep mad at each other too long.

Doable..loved that word..LOLOL

Lish and TK were totally cool and HOT at the same time..

Great post Jules & ITA! I loved the line about "I love it when you're doable!" They were totally being Zen today & all the little touches
they give us that make them special.

Z&K were cute. I like the pre-kiss convo:

"What do yo have on your--what is that?"
"There's something on my lip?"
"Uh huh!"
"Get it off, now!"

LMAO. The way she said that last part cracked me up. The Bidget appears to have been passed the cockblocker stick lately, huh?

The convo with Zaidan was weird, at least the part I was paying attention to. I was distracted because I was trying to figure out why Amanda was in the corner. Nobody puts Mandy in the corner! Anywho, Zach sounded like a damn fortune cookie. "Keep the faith!" "Tomorrow's a new day!" I was all set with my pen and paper in case he started tossing out lucky numbers. I could have used those shits for the lottery. I need moneys, yo.

"So do you."
"I do, got a problem with that?"

They are so ZEN!!!! HAAAWWWWTTT!!!!
