Title: Lies...Lies...All Lies

I haven't watched the entire show but from what I have seen and read it sounds like soapy goodness. Oh and Zach should have let him bust his ass. We all know that if he wanted him dead he would have made sure Aidan was inside the cabin before they burned it to the ground.

When the “grief sex” was first spoiled, I was livid that the writers were sacrificing the growth and maturity of Kendall’s character to accommodate Greenlee, who was being whitewashed after being written into a corner with Spike’s kidnapping. The only way I could to accept the “grief sex” as a believable scenario was to explain it as Kendall being a broken grief stricken woman desperately wanting to be with Zach, the love of her life, who she believed was gone. Today for the first time hearing these words coming from Zach comforting Greenlee, the writing is beginning to finally make some sense to get the s/l out of an OOC hole that was dug by hack writers….”They thought we were dead. Kendall needed someone to be me and Aiden needed someone to be you and that’s what they did for each other.” This along with the well written reveal between Zach and Kendall is beginning to give me hope that AMC is getting the message that relationships between people have to be character driven not a collection of shock and awe plot points.
What I saw today was the comparison of two relationships. One that is superficial and shallow with little depth to overcome serious obstacles and one where there is unconditional love and commitment to forge a bond between two people strong enough to overcome crises and obstacles thrown their way. If Greenlee truly loved Aiden she would have gone to him privately and confronted him with what her father told her rather than outing everything in front of Kendall and Zach. Aiden as well, if he loved and trusted Greenlee enough should have felt that before they were married he owed her the truth of what happened between him and Kendall and begged her forgiveness. That would have been a true test of the Graiden relationship.
Though Kendall waited too long to tell Zach ……she finally was willing to risk their marriage and felt that she owed him the truth. Kendall believed that their love was strong enough to waver the truth, despite the fact that she was pressured by both Erica and Aiden not to tell. Kendall’s eventual trust and faith in Zach finally paid off and they are both moving forward in their relationship. The Graiden relationship is a guaranteed bust.
Today we also saw the portraits of two women. One woman, Kendall, who loves with all her heart and is willing to sacrifice everything, including her life, for the man she loves and who is in great pain because she feels that she has betrayed her husband and her best friend. The other woman puts herself first in any relationship. That woman, Greenlee, today put herself first above the man she purports to love, the man that she believes she has forged a bond with in a life and death situation and the woman that she calls her best friend. Greenlee had no knowledge that Zach knew about K and A. Yet she was willing to hurt Zach along with Kendall and Aiden in her self pitying performance today. Greenlee was very much in character as were Aiden, Kendall and Zach. When Greenlee feels hurt she must make sure that people around her hurt as well.
Overall I think the show was well written. The wedding provided a contrasting background to the confrontation that was taking place outside the festivities between Zen and Graiden as well as between Jesse and Robert. Zach punching Aiden was icing on the cake.

This is going to be short. LOL.
I didn't have a problem with the dialogue at all, and The Punch rocked my world. What I really liked alot and what surprised me (though I'm not sure why I was surprised) was Zach's actions with Kendall. And I think it's more TK than Zach. When Greenlee first did her rant at Kendall, TK pulled AM closer to him. At one point, we saw TK's hand as his arm was around AM. I loved that because Greenlee really was fighting them both, only the bitch didn't know it. I'm willing to bet his supporting Kendall like that wasn't scripted.
Also, when Greenlee tore into Kendall, Zach pulled her off, not because he felt for poor lost Greenlee, but because he knows that Kendall doesn't deserve this and he was once again going to protect her.
As for the dialogue, the line I really liked from Zach was when he said that he kept it from Greenlee because he's working hard to understand what happened on that night, and it was implied that that wasn't her business. How he deals with that night is his own personal business and Greenlee plays no role in it.
I have to say that I wasn't sure how demonstrative Zach's support for Kendall would be, and today it was there in spades.
Then there was Kendall defending Zach to Aidan, which was terrific, too.
Oddly enough, Aidan and Greenlee were the ones in the wrong. Greenlee let her paranoia get the better of her, and Aidan made himself the victim, and I have to believe AMC understood what they were doing when they wrote today's show the way they did. Zen were each accused of things they didn't do, and they came out of this episode better than I'd expected.

Well, you guys have really covered it all, but I just can't refrain. . . .
Reception - Loved Tad's dancing--especially when he said that Martins don't dance and Joe dipped Ruth. Kathy/Kate was a little odd--probably from the Ghost Dixie proximity. Opal and CUR--eeeeeeeeeeeeew. JR and Babe didn't bother me that much, other than the fact that they were a waste of time. Whatever. Hubbards were cute, but man, that song lasted forever and the backup dancers were weird. Adam, poor Adam, just spill already--to get rid of Dixie if nothing else!
Jesse vs. CUR - Dude, that diamond was the size of a baked potato. Glad Jesse figured it all out, but the whole time I was all, "Come on man, where's the backup? I know you want to protect your family and all, but you couldn't have called somebody? This isn't gonna end well."
Zendall vs. Graidone - The intensity of my hatred, loathing, abhorrence, and downright disgust for Greenlee knows no bounds. It never has, but today I think it entered the stratosphere. Her treatment not only of her "betrayer" Kendall (which was beyond vile with the repeat of the surrogacy debacle, the insinuation that Kendall was all lusty for Aidan--UGH the Greenlee fantasy --and her unbelievable hypocrisy), but of her "BFF" Zach as well (with her total disregard for his feelings, then jumping on him and trying to strip his coat off, and her arguments in the hallway) was insulting, infuriating, and insufferable. She can't suffer enough for me. Bring on the pain. I'm pretty sure I had a big grin on my face when she realized that Zach knew already. Did it seem to anyone else that she was disappointed because she wasn't the one who got to tell him? It was as if by her hurting Zach in that way, she'd be inflicting even more pain on Kendall, and that was her goal, collateral damage be damned.
Aidan was equally repulsive. His lame-ass apology, his derision toward Kendall, his indignation toward Zach--ARGH! Useless hypocrite. He's all up in Kendall's face about telling Zach? Seriously, as if that was the causal factor in Jackass finding out and telling Greenlee. Um, yeah, and who was that again who spilled it all to Tad? I couldn't believe he had the gall to confront Zach about Darfur. Seriously, he is the perfect match for Greenlee--just as selfish, just as hypocritical, and just as unbelievably inappropriate.
Zach and Kendall were perfect. TK and AM rocked it. The looks on their faces when Greenlee started talking about another surrogacy, their movements toward each other, and their attempts to shield each other from further pain were absolutely fantastic. Zach's disgust at being accosted by Greenlee was great. I wish he didn't feel bad that she was "suffering," but that just shows how big his heart is and how compassionate he is--even to the undeserving. Kendall's attempts to explain were heartbreaking; it's so obvious that she doesn't want to hurt anyone and has so much concern for the feelings of others--even the undeserving. I loved that Kendall stood up for herself and Zach when talking to Aidan, and ooooh did I love it when Zach punched Aidan, grabbed his tie, and told him just how things really are.
I would really love for there to be a convo where someone explains to Greenlee exactly what betrayal is, how her viciously selfish actions caused so much pain for Kendall, Zach, and their boys that their lives completely fell apart, that Kendall was so distraught that she couldn't stop herself from screaming and wandering into strangers rooms to hold their children, that Zach was trying so desperately to hold his family together that he had to hire bodyguards and obtain medical equipment from around the world, and that the boys struggled in hospital beds not for the five minutes Greenlee did, but for months on end--someone needs to explain that to Greenlee, and then explain to her that everything that is happening to her now is nowhere close to recompense for her crimes.
Whew, getting ranty--sorry.
GO TEAM SLATER!!! :yay

I was also totally disgusted by Greenlee's reaction and comments to everyone. She is not worthy of Zach or Kendall's friendship. After what Kendall has forgiven her for, her outrage over the "betrayal" was disgusting.
On a different note, did anyone else get the impression that Zach feels like Kendall is more worried about Greenlee's pain then she was his on finding out what happened? It seemed to me that he was a little bit over this "let's make it all better for Greenlee" reaction that Kendall always has when it comes to her.

I think that Greenlee's hysterical pityparty brought back the pain that Zach was feeling about what happened between K/A. He was trying so hard to move on and seemed more relaxed with Kendall at home and at the wedding. Greenlee's hysterics just brought it all back and Kendall's guilt ridden obsessive behavior of wanting to make things right with Greenlee did not help. I do not believe that Kendall"s reaction to GB finding out was any stronger than her emotional reaction in telling Zach. The difference is in the way Zach and Greenlee handled the reveal. Zach's reaction was controlled and loving despite the pain that he was feeling, while Greenlee reaction was selfish and violent and showed no desire to understand or forgive.
I don't only feel badly about the way Kendall is handeling GB's so- called pain. I am not happy about Zach being all about GB either. He said that the Aiden punch was for himself and Greenlee and failed to mention Kendall, who was abused by Aiden on so many occasions including at the wedding. Zach also told Kendall that he did not tell GB about the ONS because he didn't want to hurt Greenlee. Yet when Kendall explained to Zach why she didn't tell him, because she didn't want to hurt him, he accused her of not trusting him. Are we to understand from this that Zach does not trust Greenlee? Writers get your s/l straight and take a little more care in writing dialog.
Finally, I hate Kenlee and I hate the Z/G BFF. Both relationships are twisted and contrived and make both Zach and Kendall emotionally subserviant to a child kidnapper and maimer.
Kendall has matured and she is a loving and caring wife and mother and the writers are abusing those characteristics by having her and her family victimized by a self-centered controlling woman that has learned nothing from life but to take, take, take. I want to see Kendall stand up for herself and her family and kick Greenlee to the curb before she manages to destoy everything that Kendall holds dear.... as GB has done in the past. Kendall, you have so much more to lose now.

You nailed it!! Totally in agreement!
