| Tuesday, May 27 Sherri to Co-host Daytime Emmys The Daytime Emmy countdown continues! This morning live on The View, our own Emmy nominated co-host Sherri was joined by All My Children star Cameron Mathison to annouce that the pair will be hosting the Daytime Emmy Awards together! On the naming of the hosts, Brian Frons, President, Daytime, Disney-ABC Television Group said, "Cameron and Sherri both have such an inviting way about them. Viewers will feel like they are in the Kodak and part of the excitement and enthusiasm surrounding this year's broadcast. They bring the perfect vibe to the celebratory atmosphere of this show." He really means it when he says "celebratory": The awards this year will be done Golden Globes style, with everyone sitting at tables instead of the traditional row-by-row seating?which should give the event a more spontaneous and unpredictable vibe. This is right up Sherri's alley! She's already serving as a co-host everyday on The View, plus she's got the perfect sense of humor for it. How fun would it be just to get her thoughts on all the different storylines? As for Cameron, he's no slouch either. In addition to his All My Children job, he serves as host of SOAPnet's I Wanna Be a Soap Star, TLC's upcoming Your Place or Mine and often serves as a guest correspondent on Extra.
