Todd goes to the penthouse to find out what Tina's up to, but discovers someone else in the upstairs bedroom and formulates a plan.

I am excited that Susan Haskell as REALMarty returns to OLTL because i wasn't too crazy about nuMarty... so i will try to watch it if i feel like it..:)

Soap Dish: A hardy Marty comes back to 'Life'

The mystery woman in Ramsey's attic is finally revealed next week on "One Life to Live" - it's Marty Saybrooke!

"She went off the cliff, Ramsey found her, and he's been nursing her back to health," explains Susan Haskell, back as Marty after a 10-year absence (another actress later played the part). "She's not in any shape to leave on her own."

Marty was presumed to have been killed in last year's accident. Though alive, she's unable to walk and has no memory, and Ramsey has been caring for her in secret in an effort to get back at good cop John, who loves her.

"John has an idea something's up," says Haskell. "But by the time John gets there, she's gone."

A series of wild events - Tina's return, a shootout for the Mendorran jewels and Ramsey's death - threatens Marty's life.

"She's trying to escape because she hears all this stuff going on, but she physically can't. All of a sudden, Todd appears!"

Todd is shocked to find Marty a) alive and b ) being cared for by Ramsey. But there's no time for a stroll down memory lane.

"He takes her to another place to take care of her," says Haskell. "Marty's heavily drugged because of the back injury. Slowly she comes to. He can tell right away she doesn't know who he is, so he fills her head with all sorts of stuff."

But he leaves out his role in the gang rape of Marty at his fraternity house in 1993. "He's definitely manipulating her," says Haskell. "He's filling her in on what he wants her to think - that he's been wronged and John is the bad guy."

Todd leaves out the fact that Marty has a son, Cole, who's dating Todd's daughter, Starr. "She asks him if she has a family, and he point- blank lies to her."

In the weeks to come, people will grow suspicious of Todd's behavior ("Blair hears there's somebody at the house") while Marty slowly regains her strength.

"But until then, I'm in nightgowns," says Haskell. "The wardrobe department is like, 'We're going to dress you eventually.' And blocking is very easy - I'm either on one side of the bed or the other!"

Anyone catch the new OLTL promo about Tina's and Marty's return? ABC must have learned a lesson because the voice over refers to them as the "original Tina" and the "original Marty".

For some reason I imagine TK telling Susan the day she went to sign her contract.... "You better tell them they sure as fuck better not use 'REAL Marty' promos for your return!" :lol:

THE RETURN OF TINA AND MARTY WILL TURN LLANVIEW UPSIDE DOWN!

Tina Lord returns to town and immediately causes big trouble! She secretly meets with Ramsey at his house for a "business transaction," but little do they know John, Antonio and Talia are listening. When gunfire suddenly breaks out, John rushes in and is caught in the crossfire. Two people get shot, but only one will survive! Meanwhile, Marty Saybrooke also resurfaces. The first person to encounter her is Todd, the man that once raped her. Will Todd do the right thing and reunite Marty with Cole and John (her son and her ex), or use her for his own purposes?

Sound like they learned their lesson. Phyllis says they are running promos saying the ORIGINAL Marty and the ORIGINAL Tina are returning.

Jessica becomes so depressed from Nash's death, she leaves Llanview for Orlando, FL. It's the happiest place on Earth, right?

David and Dorian realize they still love each other and decide to get married and run Buchanan/Cramer Enterprises together.

Evangeline (played by Renee Elise Goldsberry) awakes from her coma. Todd finally decides he's had enough of Blair's crap to last a lifetime (and then some) and reunites with his 'best friend'. Love is in the air.

I can just feel the Tarty in that promo!

OLTL is doing everything just right at the moment. Of course, anything that involves David Vickers works for me.

"You know I would do anything to help you, Viki. Except for that multiple personality thing. You're on your own there."

I liked Mel, but I'm still holding out hope for the return of Herb Callison, my favorite of all Dorian's ex husbands.

Gosh OLTL is rocking right now! Marty, Tina, Cain, Mel all returning, all favorites of mine, can't wait! Now if only we could get Cord and Max back.

Blast From the Past
Long before Passions came along, One Life To Live was Daytime's wildest soap......especially back in the Reagan era, when Viki(Erika Slezak) had an out of body experience during brain surgery and wound up on a space ship to heaven. To celebrate the ABC soap's 40th anniversary next month, OLTL head writer Ron Carlivati will revisit the celestial 1987 plot by having Vicki die........just momentarily of course! "This time, heaven will be a very modern high rise.......Vicki will go up the elevator encountering all sorts of dead characters along the way," said Carlivati. Among the former stars making angelic returns are Phil Carey(Asa), Mark Derwin(Ben), Stephen Markle(Mel), and Jessica Tuck(Megan). OLTL's legendary creator, Agnes Nixon, will also appear in heaven. That's not all. Carlivati will redo the famous 80's plot where Tina(Andrea Evans) survived a plunge over the Iguazu Falls in Argentina, only this time, creepy Carlo(Thom Christopher) will force Tina to watch in horror as he sends her daughter Sarah(Justis Bolding) over a waterfall. Fan favorite John Loprieno will return as Tina's ex-hubby Cord. And remember the time Clint(then Clint Richie) was knocked unconscious and time-traveled to the Wild West? Carlivati will riff on that plot too. "Bo(Robert S. Woods) and Rex(John-Paul Lavoiser) are hit by lightning and wake up in 1968............the same year OLTL hit the air," Carlivati say. The kicker: Bo has become his pop, Asa, and Rex has become the young Bo. All three homages air July 21-22, but the Bo-Rex twist will play out for several weeks, maybe with dire consequences. Say Carlivati: "If they can't find their way back to the future, Rex will be drafted and sent to Vietnam."

I'm kind of over the Angel/Ghost thing that's all over Daytime. But in this case? I'll make an exception.
